OKLAHOMA CITY AIR LOGISTICS COMPLEX (OC-ALC)
TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OKLAHOMA
Item Description
A19-063 Hazardous Material Storage Conex Container
AMXG requires the purchase of one (1) each Hazardous Material Storage Conex
Container:
• Building dimensions shall be 46'L x 14' W X 9' H
• Shall be climate controlled and shall be equipped with electric HVAC System.
• Shall be equipped with a pre-manufactured fire sprinkler system, per UFC 3-600-01, 4-16.7 (both Water Deluge Subassembly and Dry Chemical Fire Suppression
System)
• Sprinkler Pipe Fire Department Connection (FDC) shall be equipped with a 1.5 inch
Hose Swivel Connector.
• Shall be two (2) hour fire rated
• Shall be equipped to maintain a temperature of 73-77 degrees F
• Shall include a fire alarm system, equipped with a Monaco transmitter
• Shall comply with requirements of NFPA 30 and UFC 3-600-01, 4-16.1.1.2, specifically Chapter 14 (Hazardous Materials Storage Lockers)
• Building manufacturer and/or installer shall provide all fire suppression system devices and connections required to connect to water service piping at the water service line valve connection.
• Manufacturer shall provide full design details of the fire protection systems, including product specifications. These documents shall be furnished in conjunction with the building package to allow for review by fire protection authority.
• Shall be equipped with a minimum of six (6) interior and three (3) exterior lights.
• Shall be equipped with two (2) double doors located on the long side of the building
IAW the attached drawing.
• Dimensions of each double door shall be 60 in. Wide X 80 in. High
• Access ramps shall be provided for each double door. Minimum acceptable ramp dimensions shall be 48"W x 88"L
• Prefabricated structures shall comply with requirements of NFPA 400.
• Emergency eye wash stations shall comply with AFI 32-1066 Backflow Prevention
Program.
• All piping utilized for plumbing shall be hard drawn copper.
• Contractor shall identify locations of utility connections on design drawing
• Contractor shall identify location of Air Conditioner on design drawing
