Questions for Solicitation #FA8125‐17‐Q‐0081 Countersinks

Q. In looking over all your documents they did not specify if the Shank is threaded or not.

a. Countersinks are threaded (see Item Description, second column labeled thread size)

Q. Another question you may want to ask is Single End or Double End.

a. Countersinks are single sided.

Q. Also we’re not seeing an overall length requirement on the list of tools.

a. Overall length ‐ Countersinks are approximately 1‐3/8 inch overall length on the smaller sizes, to 2‐1/4 inch overall length on the larger sizes.

Q. On page one ‐ the 82° Chart shows a 'C' depth but does not give a specific dimension. Can you request this Dimension for all the 82° parts?

a. 82 degree "C" depth measurement ‐ This measurement is for the how deep the countersink cuts into the material not the size of the countersink body. The body lengths will be of industry standards.

100 degree countersink ‐ The 100 degree countersinks shall meet the requirements listed in the item description. The radius listed in the 82 degree chart will not be applicable to the 100 degree countersinks. The 100 degree countersinks shall meet industry standards. Those ANSI standards are available through the internet. We cannot provide them.

Q. Do you know if any of these drills have ever been made before?

a. Yes, there are numerous manufactures for the countersinks.
