Rights Guard Statement of Work
1. SCOPE:
1.1 Purpose: This document establishes the requirement for the contractor to furnish reproducible copies of technical data pertaining to the E-3, E-8, and -135 series aircraft to the United States Government (requestor) upon written order issued by the Government.
1.2 The intent of request for technical data under this contract is to provide the requestor with sufficient, current data to support its preparation of complete technical data packages for the competitive procurement of replenishment spares as defined in section SPECIFICALLY NEGOTIATED E-3, E-8 AND -135
SERIES REPLENISHMENT PART MANUFACTURING LICENSE.
1.3 This exhibit applies to Boeing technical data pertaining to the E-3, E-8 and - 135 series aircraft.
1.4 The technical data as specified herein, are the types and forms of data normally prepared by the contractor for aircraft specified in 1.3 above.
1.5 Reproducible copies shall be of the latest configuration with all the ADCNs incorporated and shall be legible and clear to permit their reproduction and use for competitive procurement of parts.
1.6 Written requests for contractor-owned sub-tier callout technical data in the form of drawings and specifications shall be processed the same as other letter requests.
1.7 Period of Performance 1 Year Basic and 2 one-year Options plus 6 months extension for Option to Extend Services for supply.
1.8 Delivery is required to be made within sixty (60) working days after receipt of a request for reprocurement data. Receipt of a request for reprocurement data is defined to mean receipt by Contractor as evidenced by receipt of the e-mailed copy.
1.9 In an emergency situation, as specified within the customer’s request, Boeing will utilize its best efforts to meet or better the government’s desired delivery requirement of thirty (30) working days.
1.10 Early Delivery is acceptable
2.0 The requestor will identify the source from which the request for technical data originates. The requestor will identify the Drawing number needed, the Media Type Digital (D) and/or Mylar (M) and any specific sheets needed.
1.11 Types of reproduction to be furnished shall be those specified on the request for data. Undimensioned drawings also known as Mylars and engineering drawings will be delivered on compact discs. Contractor generated drawings, processes, specifications and documents will be furnished as requested.
1.12 Only copies of those drawings/documents identified on the request will be furnished. The drawing sheet number(s) will be identified by the requestor.
1.12.A Undimensioned drawings provided by the contractor shall be dimensionally accurate Digital images, very high accuracy with tolerance (+ or - .005 inches). Digital raster imagery shall be in TIFF G4 format. The Contractor shall maintain precise geometric accuracy within +/-.005” over 48” x 180”. The government no longer accepts undimensioned data printed on stable base physical media. All undimensioned data shall be delivered in digital format, precision scale, and full size reproducible. This data shall be provided in a digital format that can be readily imported into
JEDMICS.
1.12.B When only Mylars are requested, the annotation, “Mylars only” will be used by the requestor and processed for the listed sheets of the requested drawing. If “all sheets” of any drawing is requested, this will indicate all the sheets and revisions of drawings and Mylars. If the contractor has later revisions to any of the identified, but not specifically ordered, drawing sheets or Mylars or any new sheets which are applicable to the requested drawing for the aircraft identified within the individual Request for Quotation (RFQ), the latest revisions of those sheets are also to be considered on order as part of this request in compact disc. The legend for all technical data delivered under this contract shall be as follows:

LICENSE”.
The Government shall ensure that prior to release to supplier / bidder / offeror, all Boeing technical data is marked properly in accordance with the provisions of Contract No. ____________. In the case of unmarked technical data that is to be used under the Special Negotiated License, no distribution shall be made until the following special license rights legend is overlaid during the reproduction process.
3.0 Packaging, Shipping and Marking:
(1) Packaging and marking shall be in accordance with best commercial practices to ensure safe delivery of the End Item.
(2) Each packaging box or container shall contain and itemized packing list, the appropriate shipping information on the outside. In case the packaging box (or it contents) requires special handling care, Boeing will ensure that the packing box is sufficiently and clearly visibly marked to this effect.

(3) Shipment of data under this contract may be sent by UPS.
(4) Shipment of requested data under this contract will be managed so that all sheets, compact discs or Mylar’s for any one drawing will be shipped at the same time, unless otherwise requested by the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO).
(5) The Contractor will utilize its best efforts to ship complete orders on a single compact disc (CD)
4.0 Notification to the Contracting officer when 75% of the current funding on the contract has been used.
4.1 An “informal” Monthly Status will be submitted to the Contracting Officer. This status will include the following:
o Funding amount o Past billed amount o Value of current month’s billing o Remaining funding o Number of Drawings by Order:
• Shipped
• Remaining In-Process
