This market research survey is to identify potential sources to perform computer support services for Tinker AFB, OK. The proposed contract will be an 8(a) set aside and this sources sought is targeted towards 8(a) firms. The proposed contract will be a base year with four option years with a period of performance FY15-19. Please provide any responses to TSGT Jeremy Starkey via email only at jeremy.starkey@us.af.mil by 5pm CST, 24 January 2014. This RFI announcement is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The information from this RFI is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The Government will not pay for responses to this sources sought.
Format of Responses Limit RFI responses to 10, single-sided, single-spaced pages. The font for text should be Times New Roman 10-point or larger. The Responder may use oversized pages (including “foldouts”) where appropriate to contain graphic presentations. Oversized pages do not count as extra pages within the page limitations. Submitted responses should be in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat format. Existing commercial documentation and product literature can also be submitted and is not subject to a page limitation. Responses must be unclassified and any proprietary information provided must be marked accordingly. To protect such data, each line or paragraph on the pages containing such data must be specifically identified and marked with a legend similar to the following: “The following contains proprietary information that (name of Responder) requests not be released to persons outside the Government, except for the purposes of review and evaluation.”
Description of Sources Sought Services The Contractor shall provide all contract administration, contract management, personnel, tools, cell and smart phones, equipment, material, vehicles, consumable supplies, operation and maintenance necessary to perform base wide network and personal computer support in accordance with (IAW) this performance work statement (PWS) at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, technical orders and commercial practices. The contractor will be responsible for computer support services for both the NIPRNET and SIPRNET with an estimated yearly ticket volume of 100K tickets; SAN/NAS backups; automated desktop management and CAC issuance services using the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) Remedy ticket management system. Prior and/or current experience computer support services are required.

3. Does your company have experience working with Government contracts?
a. Indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under.
b. Please provide your CAGE code.
c. Please provide Government contract numbers with performance within the last 3 years.
4. Does your company have the capability and capacity to manage and perform computer support services at the estimate annual volume of 100K tickets? Explain.
5. Does your company have the capability to perform the entire requirement (including computer support, information technology equipment custodian (ITEC), civil engineering librarian, CAC issuance)? If not, identify what portion(s) in which your company does have experience.
6. Do your personnel have current, favorable SECRET clearances? If not, does your company have the ability to obtain SECRET clearances for your employees within 30 days of contract start?
7. What are some customary commercial practices used to provide computer support services?
8. Do you have experience using ESD Remedy as the primary ticket management system? Please describe.
9. Does your company have experience managing Windows Server 2003/2008 R2 standard and enterprise? If so, how many servers?
