3. Finishing these items after manufacture is more than a third of the cost. If the Air Force would be interested in printing similar colors to the original sets and then clearcoating for easy cleanup and durability, the total cost and end price would drop. Replacement costs would be cheaper as well.

A: The Government does not care how the models are made as long as they can pass the durability (drop) tests, and meet all requirements in accordance with the Statement of Work.
