Q1: Question; what is the justification the Solicitation Number: FA7014-15-T-1007 being solicited as an unrestricted purchase and not a small business set-aside or VOSB set-aside?
A: The Contracting Officer's discretion, driven by Market Research results.
Q2: Will the government allow bidders to meet the more widely recognized SHRM diversity competencies?
A: The government requires training which delivers 100% of the content outlined in section 1.3.1 - 1.3.9 of page 30 - 35 of the Solicitation document. It is our perspective that these content areas are cross cutting in the since that they incorporate competencies found within SHRM, IDC or other organizations that have established D&I competencies.
Q3: Is the government requesting certified diversity professional level training and certification or certified diversity executive level training?
A: This training is intended to be initial skills training for 25 diversity practitioners. The audience will be people currently employed at a level equal to positions within the Chief Diversity Officer's direct staff in the corporate environment. Despite working at this level comparable to a direct support staff or a "C" suite Chief Diversity Officer these practitioners have not received training or had direct experience in the Diversity and Inclusion profession. This training is intended to deliver a depth of knowledge required for practitioners and bring the participants up to a level comparable to peers in industry within the competencies outline in the statement of work.
Q4: Is this workshop being delivered to 20 diversity practitioners, or is it people from the general work force? Can you be more specific on who the audience is?
