Repair Restricted Area Boundary Lighting Connect Ramp/Stadium Lights To Base operation Tower

Dobbins ARF, GA Request For Information

1. Note # 5, sheet ES101. Should our price include the cost for Ga Power work regarding the installation of new transformers?

Yes

2. Specification section 01010 - 1.3.2 states"Construction involves the replacement of 8 lighting arrays on existing 80 foot tall high mast poles and the removal of 8 existing 65 foot tall high mast poles and the replacement of 7 of these with 80 foot tall high mast poles". Is this statement correct? It appears that only (6) 80 foot and (2) 65 foot will be retrofitted.

Remark # 4 of the fixture supports this.

This is correct. 6 poles at 80 feet, and 2 poles at 65 feet.

3. Are there any boring logs available? Rock and subsurface water will substantially affect the cost. Knowledge of the subsurface conditions will limit the cost to the expectations.

Yes included in the soils report (attached)

4. Specifications section 31 63 29 indicates separate unit pricing. Will the unit pricing be required? If so, will the bid form be amended to add this?

No seperate unit pricing is required. Roll all costs/ pricing into one total bid amount.
