STATEMENT OF WORK
16SEPT2010
PROJECT: Renovate Auditorium Bldg 1654
PROJECT #: DDPM 10-0033
1. REQURIMENT: Removal of wall paper and windows, enclosing window openings, texture and painting of walls for rooms 1048 and 1049 Wing Auditorium, Bldg. 1654, NAS JRB Fort Worth, TX 76127.
2. SCOPE: The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, transportation, and technical expertise necessary to perform work specified by this Statement of Work (SOW) and associated project documents. All work to be done in accordance with Standard Building Practices and Codes. Reference attached drawing for initial dimensions and location.
3. RENOVATE:
3.1. Remove the three (3) existing windows and exterior brick ledge. Frame/ insulate/sheetrock/finish interior opening to be flush with existing wall. Frame/insulate exterior wall. Furnish and brick exterior opening, matching existing brick and pattern as closely as possible.
3.2. Strip wall covering, clean, repair, texture and paint walls in Rooms 1048 and 1049 of Building 1654.
Surface will be textured to look uniform in appearance and painted with eggshell gloss paint. Walls that require repair shall be repaired prior to texture. Exterior of the building where the windows have been removed and brick installed shall be primed and painted with a color that matches the existing color of the building exterior. Letter certifying no asbestos or lead-based paint containing materials used in project.
3.3. Prep and paint interior doors (6 each) and door frames with oil based paint.
3.4. Overhead HVAC vents will be cleaned and painted in each room.
3.5. Contractor is responsible to relocate furniture as necessary and will ensure that all furniture and carpeting is kept free from paint.
3.6. nterior work to be complete within 15 business days of start of project. Exterior work to be complete within 20 business days of start of project.
3.7. contractor or Superintendent/Representative must attend the pre-site visit. Questions will be addressed at the pre-site visit. Failure of the Contractors to ask questions presumes the Contractor is thoroughly familiar with the project.
4. SUBMITTALS: Prior to painting the contractor will consult with the building facility manager on the Paint and trim colors as well as texture pattern to be used. MSDS will be provided to the contracting officer for all paints and chemicals scheduled for use.
5. WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Weekend days may be negotiated with the
Contracting Officer.
6. WORK SITE: Contractor will, at all times, keep the work area, including storage areas, free from accumulation of waste materials. At the end of each work day, the Contractor shall remove from the work area

FA6675-10-R-0039 Page 2 and premises any rubbish, tools, equipment, and materials that are not the property of the Government. At end of project, the Contractor shall leave the work area in a clean, neat, and orderly, equivalent to original or better condition. If required, a “shop” area will be pre-designated by the Contracting Officer.
7. NOTE: All measurements should be verified before placing a bid.
8. AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS: This project is projected to be funded.
