Questions and Answers for FA5685-16-Q-0001

1. Would you please advise us the location of the 30 each portable toilets? Will they be installed close to each other or will be at different places?

The toilets will be located in various areas spread across the installation. Some will be close but most will have a reasonable distance between them.

2. What is the quantity of toilet paper rolls we should provide for each servicing for each toilet, it is going to be 12 times a month makes 3 times in a week. We have provide this type of service for US troops in Iraq and we were providing 2 rolls even we do service every day, it was hardly enough.

You should be able to have rolls ready and available for each day due to the growing demand.

3. Can you give more info about sequence of movement of toilets, what is the maximum number of toilets to be moved each time? What are their distances?

The toilets will not be moved around often, however contractors must be prepared to move them within 24 hours’ notice. As for distance, this will range depending on location, however, the contractor should expect no more than a few miles in between each toilet.

4. Please clarify if waste collection and transportation license is required to perform this service? Normally, the Ministry of Environmental requires a license for the company and a truck to transport the waste in civil roads in Turkey. Because Incirlik AB is a military installation, and waste will be offloaded inside the base, we would like your clarification whether this is a requirement or not.

You will be required to provide your own septic juices however are permitted to dump the sewage on base. The contractor should have a license from the Ministry of Environment to ensure they have the capabilities to execute this job.

5. Is there an incumbent? What’s the contract number, and contract value?

Yes, there was an incumbent. The contract number is FA5685-14-C-0002. The value is for $44.576.00.
