Virtual Reality Equipment, RAF Mildenhall Background:

The 48th Contracting Squadron (48th CONS) at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, is currently conducting independent Market Research and seeking to identify sources and items in order to fulfill an anticipated need for training generation and conveyance equipment. The equipment is anticipated to include software and hardware for the production of training material in a virtual or augmented reality environment as well as a means to convey the training in a virtual or augmented reality environment to a group of approximately 16 individuals.

Purpose and Description:

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is part of the independent Market Research to seek input from potential offerors capable of providing a system and training with the following characteristics:

· Virtual reality or augmented reality equipment to provide the ability to record, edit, and view 360 degree video/audio which will later be used to instruct a classroom of approximately 16 students in a virtual classroom setting.

· Please see attached specification document for estimated list of items.

· Direct delivery and installation at RAF Mildenhall (United Kingdom).

· Extensive training and orientation for a defined group of users and operators at RAF Mildenhall (United Kingdom).

Response Instructions:

All responses to this RFI must be provided as an attachment in an e-mail message addressed to the Primary Point of Contact (POC) and copy the secondary POC, below with the subject line “Response to RFI” no later than 09:00 EST, Thursday, 16 April 2020. Responses must be provided as a Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) no more than ten (10) pages in length, 12 point font, 1 inch margins, and no more than 3MB in size. Only electronic responses will be accepted. Responses submitted by any other means will not be considered. Respondents are requested to provide the following information to this RFI:

· Company Name

· Company Primary Point of Contact

· Contact's address, phone number, and e-mail address

· NAICS Codes

· Capability of providing Virtual Reality Equipment with direct delivery and installation and extensive training at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom.
