DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE
48TH FIGHTER WING (USAFE)
QUOTATION INSTRUCTION
EUROPEAN SPECIFICATION APPLIANCES
48TH CONTRACTING, RAF LAKENHEATH
RFQ: FA5587-13-Q-0001
1. In quoting to the solicitation vendor’s should account of the Government intent to issue a Delivery Order after contract award to the successful vendor, within the first delivery period leading up to 30 Sept 2013, containing the following appliance-types and associated quantities:
a. European Refrigerator: 408 each
b. European Cloths Washer: 410 each
c. European Condenser Dryer 400 each
d. European Vented Dryer: 10 each
e. European Dishwasher: 213 each
Note that estimated quantities are provided in the follow-on (i.e. out-year) ordering periods of the solicitation which require vendor’s to price accordingly in their quotations. However, associated quantity estimates of the follow-on ordering periods may or may not be fully ordered from by the Government, at time the periods of performance of such ordering periods take place.
2. The submittal due date for quotations is 15 August 2013, by 4:00 p.m. British Summer Time (BST). Vendors are encouraged to submit their quotation electronically to: allan.cameron.2@us.af.mil and megan.davidson@us.af.mil
3. To be considered for award of a resultant contract from this solicitation, vendor’s must be first registered with the US Government database System for Award Management (SAM) and subsequently enrolled in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), https://wawf.eb.mil/
4. Complete the necessary fill-ins and certifications in all provisions to include FAR 52.212-3, 252.212-7000, 252.225-7020, and 252.225-7032, which must be returned along with the quotation
5. Price Quotations:
a. Proposed pricing must be submitted in British Sterling Pounds (£), and remain valid for 60-days after the closing date of this solicitation.
b. Quotations shall include pricing for all items in the Price Schedule contained in Section B of the solicitation, for all associated priced CLINs on pages 3 - 10, on an “All or None” basis.
6. Technical:
a. Vendors may use the appliance specification tables located in Section J of the solicitation (starting on pg 30), to list technical specifications of quoted appliances, and/or the Excel.Spreadsheet attached to this solicitation. Consideration shall be given to the following by vendors when submitting technical specifications of quoted appliances:
· Vendors shall provide respective specifications for each category of each appliance under the “Quoted Specifications” column of the table and/or spreadsheet.
· Failure by vendors to indicate product specifications for each category, of each appliance, in the tables located in Section J and/or the Excel.Spreadsheet attached to this solicitation, may result in not being considered for award by the Government.
