ECU Q&A
1. Since the F‐100 ECU comes standard with a 25’, 60A cable that is hardwired to the unit, are the
(20) 60A, 25’ cables in Line Item 0002 needed as spare parts or for some other use?
Answer: They are needed as spare parts.
2. This is for an HDT F100‐60k ECU. We’d have to copy it. You can stack the F100s onto each other. We’d need to know if our copy needs to stack onto an existing HDT unit.
Answer: We will not be stacking these units. Units purchased under this order will be used to replace existing ECUs. They do not need to be stackable with HDT units.
3. What needs to stay the same and what can be different from the HDT unit?
Answer: We need the capability of the HDT units, i.e. – ruggedized, 60K BTU cooling / 10KW
Heat with 15 feet of ducting. As long as the offeror’s ECUs provide these capabilities, the units will be acceptable.
4. Since the end destination is Niger, can offer 3 x 400 volt, 50 Hz version.
Answer: Please provide 3‐phase x 400 volt, 60 Hz. 60 Hz is compatible with the generators that will power them. 50 Hz will not work.
5. Could you also inform us what is the expected time of delivery?
Answer: We would expect delivery of the ECUs between 30 and 90 days after award based on the contracted shipping method. Please quote both air and surface freight.
