ATTACHMENT 1
The following is a general description of the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics of the brand name item that an “equal” item must meet to be acceptable for award:
Thermal Imager, Long Range: shall be a full turn-key package delivered and ready for plug-and-play. The thermal imager shall come with a Thermal Imager and mounting bracket(s). It shall include a computer with pre-loaded software to operate system and back-up disk with software to operate system in the event of a computer crash. The programming shall include motion identification with alarm on-off software capability and joystick operating system to connect and use with computer control unit. The thermal imager shall include necessary cords for joystick control and computer control system. The Computer control system shall include 30 days record capability. The thermal imager shall include a monitoring screen for on-screen view of system and camera. The Monitor shall be a minimum of 22 inches and designed for specifically for use with static or rotational cameras to prevent burn in. The Package shall also includes connectors for fiber optic connectivity to Thermal Imager. System must be designed for surveillance and security applications of long standoff ranges. The thermal imager shall be capable to operate and detect during the hours of darkness and low visibility. The thermal imager shall be capable of a minimal field of view at 150 meters or less and a clear field of view at 4 miles capable of clearly detecting a human being. The system shall provide low noise as best as possible for longer range fields of view. The Thermal Imager shall also have stability control to minimize distortion and shaking for longer fields of view. Turn-key system with ultra-high accuracy direct drive pan/tilt, 360 degree full rotation. There shall be a minimum of 320x240, for optimum signal and real time control of the camera by a joystick. The thermal imager shall have a video frame rate of 60 frames per second. The thermal imager shall have an ambient operating temperature of -20
Celcius to +50 Celcius. Comes equipped with a lens cover and body heaters and a minimal 3-year warranty from date of shipment.
