Q1. Due Date is January 16, 2017. That is Martin Luther King Day. Will your agency and the gate security be open that day?
A1. Due date is changed go January 17, 2017.
Q2. PPQs. Since we very recently submitted PPQ with solicitations in December 2016 for similar type projects, can we resubmit those PPQs to minimize additional inconvenience to our responding clients?
A2. The intent is to have PPQs submitted directly to 354 CONS from the organization completing the questionnaire. However, the PPQs are reusable so long as they fall within the scope of the evaluation criteria. If they fall within the criteria of the evaluation criteria, then there is no need to request new PPQs from your previous customers. It is highly recommend to resubmit the same PPQs with their respective package so they are properly evaluated and not left out by mistake.
Q3. The Evaluation Factors are fairly prescriptive on what you want listed in the Section H (capacity, past performance for presented projects, and geographic proximity). Is that all that should be presented in Section H, or can we expand into more details of the benefits of our team? Assuming the later, is there a page limit you would like us to stay within?
A3. There is nothing preventing inclusion of additional information in Section H. However, only those items requested in the Evaluation Factors will be evaluated.
Q4. I noticed a discrepancy from the FBO solicitation notice and the Evaluation Factors which I was hoping you could clarify. Listed below is what’s listed in both with the highlighted disciplines missing from the Evaluation Factors. Can you confirm whether you want staffing for those disciplines?
The solicitation calls for the following disciplines: 1, Fire Protection Engineer*, 2. Architect, 3. Civil
Engineer, 4. Structural Engineer, 5. Geotechnical Engineer, 6. Electrical Engineer, 7. Mechanical
Engineer, 8. Land Surveyor AND 1, Project/Program Management, 2. Environmental (hazmat & soil remediation) 3. Industrial Hygienists 4. Cost Estimating.
The Evaluation Factors shows: a.1. The offeror’s team shall include staff members licensed in the State of Alaska in the following disciplines: • Architect , • Mechanical Engineer , • Structural Engineer. a.2. In addition, offerors shall demonstrate their qualification for the following: • Project/Program
Management, • Electrical Engineer, • Fire Protection Engineer, • Cost Estimating, • Industrial Hygienists.
A4. The disciplines shown in the Evaluation Factors are the correct disciplines. The solicitation is being revised to reflect the correct disciplines.
Q5. Could you please provide the incumbent contract number?
A5. There is no incumbent contract number.
Q6. If not, is this a new requirement?
A6. This is a new requirement.
