Salient Characteristics Generic features indicated in description for pharmacy automation (robot)
· On site, manual cell calibration – no software updates required
· Universal dispensing cell – each cell can accommodate any size or shaped tablet or capsule
· On site cleaning and maintenance of dispensing cells
· Cells are readily accessible for medication replenishment
· A required work area footprint not to exceed 27 square feet
· Preventative maintenance and service agreement available for purchase for OCONUS/Alaska
· Direct customer service available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week – no on call paging
· Prepacking function readily available with a throughput of 140 or greater prescriptions an hour for a selected medication
· Reporting function to track prepacking history
· Automate the tasks of counting and applying a vial label to include auxiliary labels
· Customizable auxiliary labels specific for medications and/or instructions of use
· No drug cross-contamination during vial filling or cell replenishment – medication travels from dispensing cell to vial
· Barcode scanner for replenishment and verification
· Comply with the current DoD/Air Force Information Assurance and HIPAA Information Assurance requirements
