Questions for the FD-ECU:

1. AKS’ tactical 5-Ton ECU measures 52”w x 42”d x 25” h. What are the maximum allowable dimensions of an “Or Equal” ECU?

Answer: Please match the dimensions to the original specs of: 42”x 52”x 32.5”

1. AKS offers an ECU with the ability to nest on top of other ECUs and be locked together during storage and shipment. Will you require the “Or Equal” ECU to be able to do the same?

Answer: YES

3. AKS (AK-ECU-5T) has the below features. Is an “Or Equal” ECU required to have any of the following features:

a. Scroll compressor

b. Hot-gas, by pass valve

c. Micro channel condenser coil

d. Phase rotation monitor

e. Removable legs

f. Drain hose

g. Certificate from nationally accredited testing lab for UL1995 and CSA C22.2 No. 236-05

h. Wood crate for shipping

i. Operation & maintenance manual

j. Spare parts kit

Answer: Please match all features of the original FDECU specs. Also, the unit should include duct hoses and R-22 Refrigerant should “NOT” be used with this requirement.

4. AKS offers a 5 year non pro-rated warranty. What will you require the or Equal warranty to offer?

Answer: NO

5. What is the latest required delivery date after award?

Answer: Requested Delivery Date is within 6 months of award date. (est. March 2019)
