PROJECT SUMMARY

The contractor shall provide warranties, tools, equipment, supervision and all other items as necessary to complete the work as described. The Statement of Work (SOW) is broken down as follows: section 1, work to be completed in contract, and section 2, period of performance 3, contractor requirements 4, government poc’s. The contractor is responsible for producing all items not specified in the contract. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract. The contractor shall conduct all work in a professional manner, in accordance with traditionally recognized construction practices and techniques.

1. SCOPE OF WORK:

Repair/Upgrade Services for MULTISTACK Chillers, Model: ASP30A-V, located at Building 9480

The contractor shall complete the following:

1.1 Install provided PCO‐3 controller, (6) mechanical modules and (1) master controller transducers and cabling required to complete. Note: all material provided by JBER

1.2 Install software for (6) mechanical controller modules and (1) master controller, install required phase monitors on each module and provide required wiring.

1.3 Install VFD’s (12) on mechanical modules to include wiring and programming.

1.4 Install VFD’s (10) on free cool modules to include wiring and programming.

1.5 Perform leak check on (4) flat circuits. Scope to include leak checking with nitrogen, will cover repairs for any minor fitting leaks, shredder valves. Will include evacuating and charging. Will cover new factory refrigerant charge. All refrigerant related work to follow current EPA regulation currently in effect.

1.6 Replace compressor on module #4 circuit #1, scope to include new liquid dryer, new refrigerant, leak check, disposal of recovered refrigerant, disposal of defective compressor and start‐up. All refrigerant related work to follow current EPA regulation currently in effect. Assumption is new contactor to be provided with compressor replacement kit.

1.7 Clean (6) mechanical module heat exchangers. Will provide chemical for cleaning. Note: Chiller package will need to be taken down to perform. The process may take up to 10 days depending on how dirty system is and how many cleaning kits are purchased. JBER to provide adequate power to operate each cleaning kit. JBER to provide storage for glycol recovered. Recommend a minimum of (2) kits to perform work.

1.8 Perform recommissioning on system after completion of above scope of work. JBER to provide a controls technician and balancer.

2. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:

1.1 The chiller shall not be taken offline more than 10 days to conduct cleaning of heat exchangers.

1.2 All work to be conducted during normal business hours.

1.3 All work must be completed within 70 days ADC.

3. CONCTRACTOR REQUIRMENTS:

1.1 Contractor shall adhere to current installation security policies.

1.2 Contractor shall possess Air Stack Modular Water Service Training Certification from MULTISTACK, at the time of solicitation close, in order to work on equipment without voiding warranties.
