Questions and Answers 30 March 2020
These are the following industry standard questions as followed:
Question 1: On the Request for Quote (RFQ), were we put in our bid price, under each year there is a line marked as elevator services over and above (estimate) qty 1 unit is lump sum. What do we base this off of?
Answer 1: The Government will put an estimated amount at time of award. Contractor does not need to quote on Elevator Service Over and Above (estimate).
Question 2: Are you just hiring a contractor to then find the inspectors. Can I assume since I am submitting the bid I am the contractor, and then my Elevator Company I have been working with would be the sub-contractor.
Answer 2: Yes the company submitting the bid would be the contractor and an elevator company you hire would be the subcontractor.
