STATEMENT OF WORK

AIR SHOWER TRANSITION POINTS

LUKE AFB ARIZONA

23 MARCH 2020

1.1.DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services to manufacture, deliver, and install of equipment on organizational property in building 922 East and West bays, (1) Two each booth transition rooms (entering the Bays)/Two each booth air shower rooms (Exiting the Bays)/Two each transition rooms (Exiting the air showers),

(2) Perform necessary building modifications to accept the booths new location. (3) Provide safety, operational, and preventative/servicing maintenance training to assigned personnel at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona in a manner that will ensure continuous functional and safe operation. (4) Items/parts not listed that are required for proper operation should be considered. (5) Ensure systems operations and meet industry standards.

1.2. Scope of Work. The contractor shall provide manufacture, delivery, and installation of all transition areas to 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron East and West Paint Booths. All work will be in compliance with the most stringent of following standards; UFC 3-410-04N, UFC 4-211-02, UFC 4-211-01, NFPA, ACGHI Industrial Ventilation, 29 CFR 1910.94, 29 CFR 1910.134, 29 CFR 1910.1026, 29 CFR 1910.1027, and 42 CFR 84, at a minimum.

The contractor shall install all the equipment as listed below:

Two Each Booth Transition Rooms (Entry):

• Attached to the east and west paint booths one entry transition room per paint booth.

• Approximately 62 inches wide by 102 inches long.

• Allow operators to change into personal protective equipment.

• Transition room will be placed so as to connect into the facility’s existing transition system.

• All transition area doors will be sealed via positive pressure with alarm to sound when pressurization is not met.

• 18 Gauge powder coated steel construction minimum.

• LED recessed light fixture with wall switch

• Safety glass doors with hydraulic door closers

Two Each Air Shower Transition Rooms (Exit):

• Attached to the east and west paint booths one exit transition room per paint booth.

• Approximately 62 inches wide by 162 inches long

• The air shower system will be designed so when the worker exits the booth there will be room to exit and the door to swing open. The worker will exit the booth into a small transition area, enter the air shower, exit the shower into another transition room so they can remove their PPE, place that dirty PPE into a built in waste bin mounted into the wall of the transition area. Once the dirty PPE is removed the worker can exit the transition area.

• (2) Anodized Aluminum framed Safety Glass Doors with Hydraulic Door Closers

• (1) LED Recessed Light Fixture with Wall Switch

• (32) Adjustable High Velocity Anodized Aluminum Nozzles

• (2) Removable High Pressure Interior Nozzle Wall Panels

• (1) 5HP (3.7kW), 3600RPM Sealed Ball Bearing Continuous Duty Motor (Motor meets or exceeds U.S. EPAct and NRCan Canadian efficiency standards)

• (1) Superior Efficiency Direct Drive Aluminum Airfoil Wheel

• 7800 FPM (39.62 m/s) Average Nozzle Velocity

• 1900 CFM (0.9 m3/s) Average

• (1) 24x24x11.5, 99.97% HEPA Filter

• (4) Wall Return Air Grills with 10x20x1 MERV 8 Pre-filters

• Raised Floor Return for Cleaning of Footwear

• (1) 2-1/2 Inch Diameter Sprinkler Sleeve

• Programmable Microprocessor PLC with 0-30 second adjustable run time and 0-10 second adjustable wait time

• UL508A Panel Sticker

• CSA Listed 208 Volt, 60 Hz, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 14.5 FLA

• Magnehelic Gauge – Silicone free – measures differential pressure of the HEPA filter

• (1) Magnehelic Gauge – Silicone free – measures differential pressure of the prefilter

• Magnetic interlocks – external mount, (3) emergency power off, EPO, buttons and alarm, door start switch

• Raised Floor Return – 6” high, zinc coated grates

Changes to 20” X24” X 2” MERV 8 pre-filters under grates Increase the overall height to 101 inches

• Variable frequency drive for a single unit Maintains a constant low velocity purge through the nozzles when the air shower is not in use Allows blower to run at low speed when not in the high velocity cleaning cycle

(8) nodes, (1) power supply 50/60 hz

1.3. The Contractor Shall Provide

Equipment Installation, Setup, Start-up and Training:

• One Project Supervisor and labor as required

• Off-loading all equipment

• All required ducting and fittings

• All electrical connections

• System start-up, testing, and appropriate adjustments

• Operator training to assigned personnel of strip process, equipment operation, equipment servicing to increase product life, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance to be conducted immediately following equipment installation.

• Two hard copies of OEM manuals and one CD copy

• Over the phone technical support available for lifetime of equipment.

• A certificate of CFM flow upon installation of equipment.

• Accurate reports that are delivered within a timely manner

• Freight of all required equipment/parts listed above
