Well #16 RFIs
1. New well pump is designed for 800 gpm, set at 550’. What is the Total Dynamic Head (TDH) required for the new bowl assembly? According to the paperwork I have its 550ft.
2. What is the total depth of Well 16? Drilled to 1030ft in 1984
3. When bailing debris from brushing activities is the bailed material to be disposed of on-site or off-site? Contractor to haul bailed material off site.
4. Is bailed water able to be disposed of on-site or does it need to be contained and disposed of off-site? Water to be allowed to remain on site from bailing.
5. Clarification on chemical rehabilitation, what is the Static Water Level and what is the depth of the perforated zone? Static water level 388ft. The casing is perforated 361’-642’& 690’-990’.
6. Can the chemically treated water be disposed of on-site after neutralization? As long as water is chemically safe, it can be disposed of onsite in a manner approved by CE Environmental Section.
7. Statement of Work, 3.1, Item 4 calls for NGWA certifications. These certification requirements are very uncommon in AZ, this is the only project that I have ever come across this requirement, and typically ADWR license is all that is required for these types of projects in the state. Can this be removed?
The contractor shall be a certified well driller licensed by and registered with the Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR).
