This or equivalent one each (Mfr: Automated Cleaning Technologies; P/N 110-02284X, 110-02282X, and 110-02283X modules); To meet below specs.:
TO Requirements
A jet washing machine with a purifier filtration system using MIL-C-87937, Type II, or MIL-C-29602, Type I or II, cleaning compound is acceptable for use on metal weapon parts requiring degreasing and cleaning. The jet washing machine must have a clean water rinse and drying cycle following the wash cycle. The complete washing, rinsing, and drying process should not exceed ten minutes. The temperature and pressure of the washer should not exceed 200 °F and 80 PSI respectively. Some jet washing machine manufactures may recommend an antifoam agent; such agents should be used IAW the manufacturer’s instructions. Manufacture’s recommendations/precautions using machine should be followed with instructions contained herein. If using MIL-C-29602, Type I or II, DO NOT USE an antifoam agent.
MIL-C-29602 was designed specifically for jet washing machines. Wash processing time shall not exceed 10 minutes per part per cleaning operation, limited to 30 minutes (3 cycles) for excessively soiled gun parts per cleaning operation. Parts shall not be allowed to contact the sides or bottom of the processing vessels. After cleaning, parts should be lubricated in accordance with technical order directives after processing. Cleaning cycle is 10 minutes total time with the following settings:
(a) 135 seconds ultrasonic cleaning.
(b) 60 seconds agitation/spray.
(c) 135 seconds ultrasonic cleaning.
(d) 60 seconds agitation/spray.
(e) 135 seconds ultrasonic cleaning.
(f) 60 seconds agitation/spray.
(3) Rinse cycle should be 5 minutes in clean tap water.
The unit must be engineered to accept the M61A1/A2 Package with upgrade to GAU-8 to process the M61A1/A2 and GAU-8 gun systems and the universal loading system components with speed and performance unachievable by other means. All wetted parts must be 304 stainless steel. Digital and analog controls provide precise tailoring of process parameters to meet T.O. requirements for temperature, 7-day heat controller, dual cyclic timing regimens with rollover repeat, power delivery, platform action, and impingement with micron filtration. Required oscillation agitation is up to 200 strokes per minute, and within (7) selectable work zones with nozzle directed spray, hydraulic flushing and agitation. Cyclic rollover from agitation to Piezo sonic permeation and back is repeatable up to 9999 times via programmable controller. Built in transfer capability on engineered open conveyor is a must, with custom racks. Safety liquid level monitoring, ergonomic control placement, and powered cover with interlock to prevent loads from impacting cover are included. System must be engineered to prevent energy isolation on gun and component parts and to provide ability to field replace all components without metal cutting or welding.
