STATEMENT OF WORK
SECTION I
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES SPECIFIC TASKS
1. SCOPE OF WORK:
a. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for the delivery and assembly of aircraft power unit equipment as defined in this Statement of Work.
2. LOCATION:
a. The delivery location is Building 297 at 6250 FITZGERALD AVE Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada 89191.
3. DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
a. Contractor shall deliver and install equipment listed below into the aircraft hangar of the building. Contractor will need to see install location to determine best installation spots for the units based on aircraft locations and availability of power from power distribution room and provide aircraft power cables long enough to hook up to the aircraft in each spot.
b. Provide and install 2 -1/2" conduit system from specified 60Hz gear location to hangar bay locations.
c. Provide and install 250MCM Cable with #2 Ground from specified 60Hz gear location to each (4) hangar bay locations.
d. 1000-volt DC cable megger testing will be performed
e. Provide 200Amp Heavy Duty NEMA 3R 60Hz Disconnect and fusing at each (4) hangar bay locations.
f. Install provided F-16 rated 400Hz system (qty 4 - 45kVA, 400Hz units on 18" floor stands) to include wiring the unit and having a technician on site during the start up and commissioning of the unit. See attachment 1 for power unit specifications.
4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
a. Terms and conditions shall be mutually agreed to and shall include the following:
b. Government furnished property (GFP), as noted above, shall be made available during the installation period at the Viper AMU , Nellis AFB, NV.
5. FACILITIES DAMAGE:
a. The Contractor shall be responsible for any and all damage to buildings, facilities, grounds, and aircraft caused by his/her work forces or equipment, and shall repair said damages to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer at no expense to the Government
6. SCHEDULE
a. The Contractor shall prepare a written schedule of operation for all stages of work to be performed, and shall submit it to the Contracting Officer for approval prior to work start up.
7. WORKING HOURS
a. Working hours for the Contractor shall normally be between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and
4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. If the Contractor desires to work during periods other than the above, he/she must identify by letter to the
Contracting Officer at least five working days in advance of the dates desired, and identify the work that will be accomplished if approval is given. The Contractor shall not be reimbursed for any changes or work accomplished outside the scope of the contract without prior approval by the Contracting Officer. In addition to the above, close coordination with the Government must be maintained.
8. FINAL INSPECTION
a. The Contractor shall notify the Viper AMU Supervision Office/99 CES for the final inspection and certification. Final clean up shall be made prior to any inspection. All project documentation is required within 30 days of project acceptance, unless noted otherwise in the statement of work.
SECTION II
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS
1.1 The contractor shall provide the name of the responsible person who has full authority to act for the contractor on all matters relating to the performance of this contract. The name of this person or alternate(s) who shall act for the contractor when the responsible person is absent shall be designated in writing to the contracting office. The responsible person or alternate shall be available to discuss problem areas within 1 hour during normal duty hours and within 2 hours after normal duty hours. Normal duty hours for Nellis AFB are 07:30 am to 04:30 pm, Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays.
2. UNIFORM AND APPEARANCE
2.1 Contractor personnel shall present a neat appearance and be easily recognized as contractor employees. While on duty, all employees shall wear a company unique uniform of the style and color normally used by industry. The uniform shall be clean and neat in appearance at all times.
3. SAFETY
3.1 There are no identified hazards on the designated property. Should a hazard be identified, the government corrects OSHA hazards according to the base wide government developed and approved plans of abatement taking into account safety and health priorities. The fact that no conditions have been identified does not warrant or guarantee that hazards do not exist, or that work-around procedures will not be necessary. Compliance with the OSHA and other applicable laws regulations for the protection of employees is exclusively the obligation of the contractor. Further, the government will assume no liability or responsibility for the contractor’s compliance or non-compliance with such requirements.
Before any modification of the facilities other than regular maintenance performed by the contractor at his or her expense, the contractor must furnish the contracting officer documentation describing, in detail, the modification proposed. No major alterations to the facilities shall be made without the specific written coordination form the contracting officer. In the case of alterations necessary for compliance with the OSHA, such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld.

MONITORING AND CONTROLS
Display 4 x 20 character backlit display and dedicated indicator lights, with LED configuration for harsh environments
Control 16-key matrix keypad for full control and monitoring, as well as dedicated stand alone push button controls for Start, Stop/Reset, and Output On/Off control for user friendly operation
Metering Full three-phase monitoring and display of input and output voltage, current, and frequency; built-in troubleshooting guide in display; dedicated elapsed time meter also provided
ENVIRONMENTAL & MECHANICAL
Enclosure NEMA 12 equivalent rated steel enclosure with durable powder coat finish. Standard colors: RAL9006 “White Aluminum” (gray) or RAL9016 “Traffic White”. NEMA 4 equivalent rating is optional.
Size/Weight 52”H x 48”W x 25”D (56”W with NEMA 4 vent hoods) – 1,200 lbs. est.
