Statement of Work

Munitions Assembly Conveyor II (MAC II) Reconditioning

1. Ship MAC from Nellis AFB, NV to reconditioning facility. Service will be performed using Base Nellis AFB MAC shipping containers.

2. Disassemble and inspect two (2) Gantry Assemblies, P/N 7548085-10 for cracked welds, bends, or other signs of damage. Repair/replace as necessary to restore to serviceable condition IAW USAF drawings and standards. Sand blast, prime, and paint all parts. Apply required weight capacity and caution decals. Replace grounding straps, hitch pins, safety pins, and lanyards. Once completed and reassembled, erect and test for weight-load compliance IAW USAF drawings and standards.

3. Disassemble, inspect and recondition two (2) Pneumatic Hoists, P/N 7548685-10 and restore to like new condition. Replace all major wear items such as bearings, chain, chain bag, seals, gaskets, o-rings, and brake components. Repair as necessary to restore to serviceable condition IAW USAF drawings and standards. Note: This service will be performed at a factory authorized repair facility and each hoist will be weight-load tested, carry its own one-year warranty, and come with a weight-load certification document.

4. Disassemble, inspect and recondition two (2) Hoists Trolley Assemblies, P/N 7548088-10 and restore to a like new condition. Repair as necessary to restore to serviceable condition IAW USAF drawings and standards. Note: This service will be performed at a factory authorized repair facility and each hoist trolley will be weight-load tested and carry its own one-year warranty.

5. Disassemble and inspect two (2) Bomb Bar Assemblies, P/N 7548255-10 for cracked welds, bends, or other signs of damage. Repair as necessary to restore to serviceable condition IAW USAF drawings and standards. Sand blast, prime, and paint lifting beams.

Replace cables and hooks and reassemble IAW USAF drawings. Apply weight lifting capacity decal. Note: Each Triple Bomb Bar will be weight-load tested and come with a weight-load certification and throat gap measurement document.

6. Disassemble and inspect four (4) Rail Conveyor Assemblies (Tables), P/N 7548595-10 for cracked welds, bends, or other signs of damage. Repair/replace as necessary to restore to serviceable condition IAW USAF drawings and standards. Remove all Rail Bearings, P/N 8457609-8 clean and resurface. Sand blast, prime, and paint all other parts. Replace all grounding straps, quick release pins, lanyards, bolts, nuts, washers, and tension springs and reassemble IAW USAF drawings. Seal air lines with covers. Apply required weight capacity and caution decals.

7. Disassemble and inspect twenty-five (25) Dolly Assemblies, P/N 7548665-10 for cracked welds, bends, or other signs of damage. Repair/replace as necessary to restore to serviceable condition IAW USAF drawings and standards. Sand blast, prime, and paint all parts. Replace all bearings, rollers, washers, nuts, and bolts and reassemble IAW USAF drawings.

8. Disassemble and inspect 100 Bomb Roller Assemblies, P/N 7548665-30 for cracks, bends, or other signs of damage. Repair/replace as necessary to restore to serviceable condition IAW USAF drawings and standards. Sand blast, smooth surfaces, remove burs, and refinish all parts. Replace all retaining rings, washers, and sleeve inserts and reassemble IAW USAF drawings.

9. Disassemble and inspect Interface Control Board (ICB), P/N 7548195-10 for cracked welds, bends, or other signs of damage. Repair/replace as necessary to restore to serviceable condition IAW USAF drawings and standards. Replace all pneumatic and electric components (excluding air dryer if installed). Sand blast, prime, and paint outer housing and door. Apply required decals. Replace grounding straps, quick release pin, and lanyard. Reassemble IAW USAF drawings.

10. Disassemble and inspect Arming Wire Dispenser, P/N 7548395-10 for cracked welds, bends, or other signs of damage. Repair/replace as necessary to restore to serviceable condition IAW USAF drawings and standards. Sand blast, prime, and paint all components.

Reassemble IAW USAF drawings.

11. Repair or replace two (2) Light Assemblies, P/N 7548885-10. Ensure lighting assembly functions as designed. Repair or replace attaching hardware.

12. Replace Restraint Strap, P/N 7548116-10.

13. Replace all Air Hose Assembles, including P/Ns 79513 (42 feet), 2556-12 (6, 30, and 94 feet), and 13221E4806-1 (31 feet). Perform pressure performance tests.

14. Repair or replace four (4) sections of Pallet Roller Conveyor Assembly, P/N 7548675-10.

15. Repair aluminum shipping containers and pallets as necessary. Inspect welds for cracks and repair as necessary. Replace push button lock pins as required.

16. Ship all reconditioned, fully assembled, and serviceable MAC components back to Base Nellis AFB, NV.
