Questions and Answers for FA4855-18-R-0048 Distance Learning Administrator
Does the distance learning employee need to sit on site or is remote work allowed (with office visits as needed)? The distance learning employee would need to be on site and remote work is not part of the performance requirements.

Is there an incumbent? Yes
Is a security clearance required? The contractor employees performing the work shall require a background investigation National Agency Check (NAC).
What is the estimated hours per week that the contractor staff will work during normal business hours? Most hours will be worked between the normal business hours 0f 0730-1630 depending upon the agreed upon schedule for the maximum contract hours.
What is the estimated hours per week the contractor staff will work outside normal business hours?
Depending upon broadcast scheduled start time and length of course, 5-10 hours every 3-4 months;
start time may be 0600 or 0700. In accordance with section 4.4 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), the contractor is to submit a work schedule to be accepted by the Contracting Officer's Representative, based on the training requirement outlined in section 1.1.4., Video Tele-Training, of the same PWS.
Is there a labor category equivalent on the wage determination document? It is at the vendor's discretion to determine the appropriate labor category for this type of work performed.
