ENGINE CHANGE CART
DESCRIPTION
All in one change cart that can handle an engine change, a propeller change, a combo (eng/prop) change and perform an HSC inspection plus have the tools for a repair without going back to support for additional tools.
SPECIFICATIONS
- Dimension: No bigger than 1 C-130 pallet position (96” Height 104”x85” wide)
- Reinforced brackets with ball pin safety – must be able to securely store and transport C-130 Engine T- Sling, Engine/Propeller Lifting Adapter and Portable Stationary Engine Stand(See attachment)
- Security hooks for covers
- Paint: Sherwin Williams spray hard surface liner, heavy duty, for protection and corrosion prevention
- Includes:
- Integrated drum brakes with hand operation
- Pintle Hook in the back (to attach additional equipment/carts)
- Spare Tire
- Heavy duty housing
- Adjustable heavy duty shelf
- Multiple Heavy duty drawers – must be able to fit assorted tools (see attachment)
- All drawers /doors must be sturdy enough to withstand strong winds
- 30 cubic feet minimum extra storage space enclosed
- Lockable Roll up Door/or sturdy securing doors.
- All tools must be able to be secured (locked up)
- Custom Tool control foam for engine/propeller change cart (65 total number of cutouts)
- Black tool control foam 1" to 5" dependent on drawer location and tool placement w 1/8' red
- Blank foam inserts
- Anti mildew treatments &UV pigments for weather resistance
- Matte finish
- Heavy Duty tie down loops(Rings) for securing to aircraft
- heavy duty strips of Velcro for securing the cover
- Waterproof
- Custom cabinet covers with High tensile/tear strength and heavy duty Velcro all round(to secure to cart)
- Towable/steerable (tow bar must be able to be stowed and locked
- must be able to fork lift
- Dual axle
- must be able to be maneuvered by one person while rolling
- must be able to traverse unfinished roads and other unpaved surfaces
- strong and durable
Below is the Existing Engine Cart, requirement is to improve on this existing cart to incorporate storage, transport and integrate all equipment into an all in one Engine Change cart Design. Brackets to hold the
T Sling, Propeller adapter etc, drawers and shelves stores the tools and misc ex. Hard hats, and additional storage space.
