We are looking for a 400hz/270 vDC combination unit.
This will be a 90 kVA/290 vDC unit, not 120kVA.
The wire size must be able to handle the input current of a 90 kVA FC.
Based on the expertise of all the contractors during the site visit, this type of unit puts out a max current of 95 amps. The base has a 10% overload policy meaning the wires with this capability must be able to carry at least 105 amps.
The breakers and fuse box will be 125 amps putting in wires capable of 125 amps
It is a 90 kVA unit and we need to have wires capable of carrying at least 105 amps.
