SPECIFICATIONS FOR PARACHUTE RACK

PARACHUTE RACK SIZE AND CAPACITY

36’ wide x 72” high x 24-1/2” deep Parachute Storage Capacity: 90 10 Parachutes per section, (double stacked)

RACK CONSTRUCTION

Interior structure to be constructed of 12ga. and 16ga steel tubing. Structure to be fusion welded for rigidity. End panels, canopy top and bottom to be fabricated of 18ga cold rolled steel.

Bottom to have access holes to allow attachment to platform. Access holes to have nylon finishing plugs.

The ends of tubing to have polyethylene square plugs.

Rack shall be fully customizable to match the application requirements.

System shall be Upgradeable to become double faced unit, back to back for increased capacity

CANTILEVER ARMS

Cantilever back brackets, gusset, and retaining clip to be fabricated of 12ga. cold rolled steel.

Arm to be fabricated of 16ga. round steel tube. Arm to be fusion welded for rigidity.

Arm to have polyethylene finishing plug at end.

Cantilever Arm shall be infinitely adjustable horizontally along the entire width of the rack except the center 2” section of the structural center vertical tube.

Cantilever Arm shall be adjustable vertically in 6” increments.

Cantilever Arm to be secured via a thumb screw to eliminate the need to use tools.

MATERIALS

All materials shall be examined for "non-reactivity" and their use shall be subject to approval in this regard. "Non-reactivity" as used herein means that the material is chemically stable and does not off-gas or physically degrade to produce any of the following: ureaformaldehyde, free sulfate radicals, sulfides, free sulfur, chlorides, acetates, chlorine, formaldehyde, oxides of nitrogen, oxides of sulfur, ammonia, organic acids, disodium phosphate, di butyl phalate, acid-hardened phenol formaldehyde resins, peroxides, volatile organic compounds, or plasticizers lacking long-term stability.

FINISH

All corners will be rounded and all exposed edges will be deburred.

The metal finish shall be powder coated steel. Color per customer selection.
