Statement of Work CEMIRT MAAS Parts and Equipment

1. PURPOSE: The contractor shall furnish all required parts, equipment, material, and labor to provide the following items in accordance with (IAW) all applicable codes, specifications, and industry/federal standards to CEMIRT at Tyndall AFB, Florida.

2. SCOPE:

1. Deutz Diesel Engine Assemblies – P/N: D2011L04i – 26 Each:

a. IAW Technical Order (T.O.) 35E8-2-10-1 and 35E8-2-10-4; Each engine assembly kit must include the following 24 Volt items:

i. One (1) Starter P/N: 4300286;

ii. One (1) Alternator P/N: 4103903;

iii. One (1) Shutdown Solenoid P/N: 4103822,

iv. Two (2) Glow Plugs P/N: 1179017;

v. One (1) Deutz Diesel Tier 4i engine with EGR valve, rated for 63.7

HP @ 2600 RPM;

vi. One (1) LOFA 24 Volt Control Panel without factory harness. P/N:

EP250KL7

b. The engine assembly kit must include:

i. One (1) Power Take-off (PTO) Package, HSG Size: 4; Clutch Size: 8S

(PTO). NACD P/N: 431026AM

ii. One (1) Engine Harness with relay sockets P/N: 23973

iii. One (1) Exhaust Pipe P/N: 21998

iv. One (1) Guard, Cooler P/N: 1732

v. One (1) Throttle Lever Mounting Kit (Speed Control) P/N: 1548

vi. One (1) Aluminum Vernier Throttle Cable P/N: 58028

vii. One (1) Truck Valve, Oil Drain P/N: 57267

viii. One (1) Adapter, Oil Drain P/N: 57268

ix. One (1) Timing Control Unit (Relay) P/N: 4219375

x. One (1) Slave Relay P/N: 4271981

xi. One (1) Wiring Harness for LOFA Panel Gauge(s) illumination P/N:

801-3305-17

xii. One (1) MC Mount Kit, Deutz P/N: 22000565 (2 Front and 2 Rear Engine Flex Mounts)

2. Vendor must perform the following actions: Completely assemble engines including all the above listed items with the exception of the lifting eyes. Add engine lube oil to engines and test run to perform quality assurance (QA) inspection to verify operation and correct indication on control panel for all engine safety shut down devices e.g., low oil pressure, high engine temperature. Ensure all gauges are functioning properly and calibrated; throttle operates freely with no binding; and D.C. charging system checked. Verify engine preheat system is operational through the preheat controller and indicating properly on the engine control panel. The engine/PTO must be completely assembled with the exception of the following loose items that must be packaged with each engine: 24 volt LOFA Control panel and all the requested manuals.

3. Loose items will be verified and inventoried for packaging/completeness. A copy of the QA test report must be included with each engine. Engines will be filled to capacity with diesel multi-viscosity SAE 15W-40 lube oil or provided separately in DOT approved containers for over-the-road shipment.

The contracting officer can provide additional engineering drawings, specifications and instructions as needed upon request.
