Statement of Work (SOW) For
325th Security Forces Squadron
26 March 2018
1. SOO/TRP Virtual Training Simulator Requesting Office: 325th Security Forces Squadron
2. Purpose The purpose of this statement of work (SOW) is to outline the parameters to acquire a virtual training simulator for the 325th Security Forces Squadron. The virtual training simulator will support Security Forces Airman with marksmanship training and numerous custom training situations for Use of Force training. Also this virtual training simulator will train the 325th Fighter Wing augmentees which is critical when the base goes into higher Force Protection Conditions like Delta and Charlie. The proposal shall include the labor cost associated with disassembly and removal of the old equipment. All materials and accessories shall be installed in accordance with industry standards and manufacturers written recommendations. There are no AFI or appendices that must be applied. Also the company that is installing the new system must remove the old system.
3. Description of virtual training simulator needs
· (5) 1080p mounted projectors, (5) screens or at least 270 degree coverage
· Allows 3 trainees to operate with up to (3) weapons in individual 3D marksmanship training and judgment training scenarios
· Judgmental training allows the use of less than lethal force techniques with escalation, de-escalation throughout the entire force continuum, Law Enforcement scenario for decision making.
· Capability for the user to author lanes courses of fire.
· Price includes: system hardware, software, ruggedized container, screens installation, (5) days of operator training , CONUS shipping and two (2) year warranty
· (4) M4 carbine rifles with recoil and (4) Beretta 9mm pistols with recoil (M9), uses wireless technology to communicate with the system, weapons retain the sensor feedback and control of our with exception of analog sensor function
· (2) CO2 refill station
· (4) Tasers X26 with (8) cartridges
· (1) Surround Sound Speaker system
· (1) Computer
· Feedback system so that the users may know when they’ve been shot/hit.
· Room Dimensions: 25.5 feet width by 37 feet length , the outlets are 6 feet to 8 feet apart on each wall. Eight outlets total.
· HOURS: The normal duty hours of work at Force Development Center are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday excluding Federal Holidays. All work shall be performed during duty hours. Each areas worked shall be ready to support program flow and functions on the next duty day. All other hours shall be requested through the Contracting Officer for approval. This request shall be submitted no less than three (3) workdays prior to the time requested.
· SCENARIOS: The minimum number of scenarios will be 30 for the system.
