Statement of Work (SOW)

Remove and Replace Waterslide at MacDill AFB

SECTION 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, tools, materials, facilities, transportation and other items and services necessary to remove and replace the waterslide at MacDill AFB.

1.1 Scope of Work

The contractor shall:

(1) Prepare engineered shop drawings of the slide and footings for review and approval;

(2) Tear down and dispose of current water slide. Current slide is fiber glass. Contractor will be responsible for any damage to the deck caused by the tear down. Contractor required to ensure footings are level and safe to install new slide, any additional work needed to prepare for new slide is at the cost of the contractor. Contractor may be required to remove existing safety fence pending footprint of new slide. A lay down area will be provided for the contractor.

(3) Install new Slide and accessories; ensuring fully operational slide. The Government believes a new pump and intake work is required; but is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure they confirm actual items required. Electrical hook up is also required.

(4) If the contractor believes Bonds are required, they must be included in the price. The Government does not require any Bonds for this project.

SECTION 2.0 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF NEW SLIDE:

1. Slide must be commerical grade, two flume polyethylene made with UV resistant resin waterslide. One flume must be minimum 12 feet long with closed Flume. Second flume must be 8 feet long with closed Flume

2. Slide must meet all safety regulations; and be fully caged.

3. Slide must be Blue in Color (Final decision on color will be made prior to delivery, but should not increase price).

2.1 Period of Performance

1. Contractor will coordinate with 6 FSS to ensure work is completed during non-peak times; all work must be completed prior to 1 April 2020.
