STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) for REPAIR of FLAMEHOLDERS

1. SCOPE: The work covered by the provisions and clauses of this contract consists of furnishing all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to repair Flameholders, NSN: 2840-01-326- 4066, in accordance with Technical Orders (TO) 2J-F100-46-5 (SWP 523 02) and 2-1-111 and approval of F100 Engineering at Tinker AFB. Flameholders will be furnished by 4

MXG/MXQG.

2. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/INFORMATION/INSTRUCTIONS:

A. Contractor must be approved and certified by F100 Engineering at Tinker AFB.

B. Weld/repair procedures for Flameholders:

1) All work shall be completed IAW TO 2J-F100-46-5 (SWP 523 02) and TO 2-1-111;

2) Cleaning and part assessment inspection;

3) Solution heat treat;

4) Post wall stress relief;

5) Mark cracks;

6) Clean, wash, grind-welding area;

7) Manual gas tungsten arc weld, using backing gas or inert atmosphere;

8) Grind excess weld material;

9) Stress-relieve repaired assembly;

10) Visually inspect;

11) Return to service if cracks are within limits;

12) Return flameholders to Seymour Johnson AFB, NC.

C. Flameholders are manufactured by: United Technologies Corporation, Turbo Combustor Technology Inc., and Woodward FST Inc.

D. F.O.B. Destination. Parts will be shipped to the Contractor by the Government at the Contractor’s cost. The Contractor shall be responsible for shipping all parts back to the Government. Shipping documents shall accompany each shipment with the following minimum information:

1) Date shipped;

2) List of Items by NSN or PN, serial number if applicable and nomenclature;

3) Ship To Address: 1395 Refueling Plaza, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC 27531.

3. LOCATION: This work is to be accomplished for the 4 MXG/MXQG, 1395 Refueling Plaza, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC.

4. WORKMANSHIP: All workmanship will comply with standard trade practices. The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, equipment, and services required to return parts to serviceable condition.

5. WARRANTY: The contractor will guarantee all workmanship for a period of 30 days after receipt or at first time use, whichever is later.

6. TURN AROUND: Repairs will be completed and returned within 40 days of receipt for routine repairs and within 20 days of receipt for MICAP repairs.
