AIRCRAFT SUNSHADE REPAIR SERVICES
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
1. SCOPE: To provide all tools, materials, equipment, personnel, transportation, storage and any related items and logistics necessary to perform Aircraft Sunshade Repair Services on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base with a completion date not to exceed 60 days from the date of award.
2. MATERIALS: The contractor shall provide repairs to include:
• Supply and install 22 ounce canvas on 5 API sunshades (70’ X 70’), work to include new canvas hardware and ratchet straps
• Install new lightning protection antenna and brackets 8 each per sunshade on 5 API sunshades
• Repair Canvas –Repair PVC canvas by using two methods; cut patch to extend 1” past hole adhere by either PVC glue or heat iron on (8 each)
• Repair/Replace canvas straps – (17 each) Supply and install new canvas straps
• Install New Plastic End Caps – Install 1/2” thread protectors on 2 sunshades

3. Work Area: The contractor shall keep work areas free from accumulations of waste material, rubbish, tools, scaffolding, equipment, and materials at all times. Upon completion of the job or when away from the work site, the contractor shall leave the work area and premises in a clean, neat, safe and workmanlike condition with high consideration for foreign object damage. The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all job related waste material at an off-base site.
4. LOCATION: This performance is to be accomplished on, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Goldsboro, NC, 1405 Hangar Row Building 4534, F-15 Ramp, AGE and AMMO Inert Pad 1.
5. SCHEDULING: Prior coordination for an escort, removal/disposal, and installation of equipment shall be coordinated with the Aircraft sunshade Manager or her designated representative.
The sunshades are located in a restricted controlled area. Contractor personnel without appropriate security clearance will be escorted by authorized Government personnel at all times while within controlled and restricted areas.
Business Hours: M-F from 7:00 AM EST to 4:30 PM EST not including any federal holidays.
6. WARRANTY: Standard commercial parts warranty.
7. EMPLOYEES: The contractor shall ensure all employees working on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base possess proper identification and/or citizenship documentation. Under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), employers may hire only persons who may legally work in the United States (i.e., citizens and nationals of the U.S.) and aliens authorized to work in the U.S. The employer must verify the identity and employment eligibility of anyone to be hired (Ref: U.S. Department of Labor: http://www.dol.gov/compliance/guide/aw.htm#whowhich) http://www.dol.gov/compliance/guide/aw.htm#whowhich)
