Statement of Work Pipe Fence and Metal Roofing RCO Trailer Compound Centennial Bombing and Gunnery Range

1.0 PURPOSE

The 54 OSS/OSOR range management office has a requirement to install 430 feet of steel pipe pole fencing around the RCO Trailer compound with one pre-manufactured cattle guard with metal swing gate as the main entrance to the compound. In addition we have a requirement to install a new metal roof over the existing shingle roof on the RCO trailer and add a metal covered porch over the existing porch attached to the trailer.

2.0 SCOPE

The Contractor shall provide and install 430 feet of 2 3/8” three rail steel pipe pole fencing with 4 inch steel pipe corner posts at each corner and at the cattle guard. The contractor will provide and install one 20 foot X 3 foot pre-manufactured cattle guard as a main entrance with one 20’ metal swing gate. The government will provide a site layout plan for the fence and gate locations. All posts and associated support bars will need to be set in concrete. The contractor will provide and install a metal roof with flashing over the existing asphalt shingle roof on the trailer. The contractor will fabricate a 7 foot X 25 foot covered metal roof over the existing porch to be tied in with the new roof on the trailer.

3.0DELIVERABLES
3.1Provide all materials.
3.2Transport to job site
3.3Clean up job site upon completion of work

4.0 GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

4.1 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

The period of performance shall be within 60 days from Authority to Proceed (ATP).

4.2 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT (GFE)

The Government will provide120 VAC electrical power at the trailer.

4.3 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

This project is located outside the safety boundary of the Centennial Bombing and Gunnery Range located approximately 60 miles south of Alamogordo NM on the Otero Mesa. The range is located within the Ft. Bliss military training area and is restricted to authorized personnel only. Contractor’s work schedule may be impeded by military mission requirements therefore scheduling delays may be encountered but are not anticipated. Any delays caused by the government will not be held against the contractor’s work performance.

4.4 CONTRACTOR IDENTIFICATION

Contractor personnel must identify themselves as contractors during meetings, telephone conversations, in electronic messages or correspondence related to this contract.

4.5 CONTRACTOR FURNISHED ITEMS AND SERVICES

The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services, necessary to perform the work defined in this SOW.

5.0 CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION

5.1 HOURS OF OPERATION

The Government’s regular hours of operation are between the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-directed facility closings.
