Q-1. Has this been considered for set aside to small business under FAR 13.003(b)?
A-1. Based on market research results, the Government does not intend to change the procurement strategy for this requirement.
Q-2. If not, would you consider changing your procurement strategy?
A-2. The Government does not wish to change its procurement strategy at this time.
Q-3. Is Kofax (now Lexmark) currently providing this support to you directly?
A-3. Yes.
Q-4. If not, is the support coming from an authorized partner?
A-4. Not applicable. See A-3.
Q-5. Is support provided in person on the base?
A-5. No.
Q-6. If yes, approximately what percentage of the service calls are handled in person versus remotely?
A-6. 100% remotely.
Q-7. What is the target document repository or workflow application the captured images get released to?
A-7. IBM Content Manager services via connectors and custom code.
Q-8. Is there a need to support any interfaces (or filing tranfers) between Kofax and other software applications?
A-8. Yes, IBM Content Manager Runtime Client.
Q-9. What is the total annual volume of images being scanned with Kofax licenses?
A-9. Approximately 264,000.
Q-10. Would you be interested to have the Kofax Capture EDMS/RM or other content related applications supported by a single organization?
A-10. No.
