1. Can you provide any more detail on these items listed on the solicitation? Specifically on item 0003, is this for storing controlled drug prescriptions only, controlled drug stock / inventory, or both prescriptions and stock bottle inventory? I am not familiar with item 0002 as it relates to will call systems. Is this the same any fee required for keeping our RMF certification with the DoD current? Lastly do you have a current “will call bag count” that is reflective of the will call volume today?
a. Answer: CLIN 0003 is for controlled drug prescriptions before being handed out to the member. The controlled stock already has its own storage location. CLIN 0002 is for any software licenses or annual certification fees that might be needed to keep the system running and connected to the pharmacy computer systems.
Currently we do not have a will call system so I cannot give you that number. I do know that the pharmacy recommended 800 PickPoint Bags if that was the company we were going to go with. I am going to assume each bag will be per patient, so we would need enough space to hold medication for at least 800 patients.
