STATEMENT OF WORK
ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AND CALIBRATION ON MOBILE AUTOMATED SYSTEM (MAUS) EQUIPMENT AT GRAND FORKS AFB, ND 27 February 2015
1.0 - SCOPE OF WORK
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, material, supervision, and required services necessary to perform annual maintenance on Mobile Automated System (Maus) equipment at Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB), ND. This is an all inclusive maintenance contract that will include the following:
1.01 - CONTRACT COVERED MAUS UNITS & FLAW INSPECTA
1. “GMMNMAUS1—MAUS S/N 067 & Flaw Inspecta S/N 023887/003” Location: Grand Forks AFB, ND bldg. 605, Rm 101
2. “GMMNMAUS2—MAUS S/N 112 & Flaw Inspecta S/N 024634/001” Location: Grand Forks AFB, ND bldg 605 Rm 101 The NDI Lab will pack and ship one unit at a time to the contractor’s facility at government cost. Only one unit shall be serviced at any given time. The other unit shall be fully operational during scheduled service and calibration.
1.1 – ANNUAL PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
The contractor shall make evaluation of MAUS system(s) and scan arm assemblies. The contractor shall perform all maintenance and repair on all components/parts that make up the MAUS system(s). The contractor shall generate service reports on each MAUS unit maintained and/-or repaired. The contractor shall provide a hard copy service report with equipment when shipping unit back to Grand Forks AFB, ND NDI Lab. The contractor shall provide telephone support (9am-5pm CDT) to help diagnose and resolve problems.
1.1.1 - ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST
The contractor shall inspect the scan arm motor and replace as required. The contractor shall annually replace both scan arm drive pulleys during annual preventive maintenance check. The contractor shall replace annually the scan arm drive belt during annual preventive maintenance check. The contractor shall annually replace the scan arm resolve during annual preventive maintenance check. The contractor shall replace annually the resolver side bearings during annual preventive maintenance check. The contractor shall replace annually the resolver shaft flex coupler during annual preventive maintenance check. The contractor shall inspect linear slide bearing trucks and replace as required. The contractor shall inspect all connectors, plugs and cables and repair as required. The contractor shall inspect quick set buttons on the scan arm and repair as required. The contractor shall inspect scanner track carriage truck shoulder bolts and replace as required. The contractor shall inspect all metal parts and repair or replace as required. The contractor shall inspect scan arm quick disconnect pins and replace as required. The contractor shall inspect the track carriage assembly and repair-adjust as required. The contractor shall inspect all track vacuum fittings and repair or replace as required (excludes flexible track replacement).
1.2 – SCHEDULE OF PERFORMANCE
The government will pack and ship equipment to the contractor’s facility. The contractor shall submit a Return Maintenance Authorization (RMA) number prior to the government shipping a non-functional piece of equipment for repair. The government shall determine the best mode of transport as deemed necessary at no additional cost. Contractor shall return/ship the repaired equipment back to the NDI Lab at Grand Forks AFB, ND.
1.3 – PLACE OF PERFORMANCE
Preventive maintenance shall take place at the contractor’s location.
2.1 – WARRANTY
The contractor warrants that all replacement parts are new and free from defects. The contractor warrants all materials and workmanship used associate with MAUS equipment maintenance for a period of 12 months (364 days) from the date of acceptance. On receipt of written notification of defect within the warranty period the contractor will issue the government a returned material authorization number (RMA). On receipt of equipment the contractor will inspect, repair or replace all warranted items without additional cost to the Government.
