DETAILED SPECIFICATION SHEET
Firearms Simulator 12 Jul 2016
1. GENERAL: The purpose of this document is to outline the minimum needs of the Government. Contractor shall provide Firearms Simulator meeting the following at minimum.
2. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS: Fire Arms Simulator must (at a minimum) comply with the following 2.1.--180 Degree Range Theater HD system with Multi-Directional Sound 2.1.1.--Rack mount CPU Station 2.1.2.—Tabletop all in one touchscreen control station 2.1.3.—Desk, Keyboard, optical mouse and desktop speakers 2.1.4.—HD Short-throw Projectors to support 180 Degree screen 2.1.5.—180-degree borderless screen 30'L x 6' 5”H 2.1.6.—8-device Laser Weapon & Flashlight Detection Modules 2.1.7.—All Power, Video Cables 2.1.8.—Surround Sound System 2.1.9.—800+ Multi-Branching Interactive Single Screen Scenarios are Pre-loaded as well as 55+Skill Builder exercises and 75+ Multi-Screen Scenarios
2.2.—Additional equipment 2.3.1.--Dry-Fire Laser Training Inserts: (2) 9mm Dry-Fire Weapon Lasers OR (2) Replica Glock Training Weapons (ATF non-gun) 2.3.2.--OC Spray Training Devices. Laser modified OC spray training devices for less-lethal applications. Thumb or trigger activation.
2.3.4.—11 Recoil Kits- Pistol (M9). Drop-In tether-less recoil kit with two (2) CO2 refillable magazines. No permanent modification to weapon required.
2.3.5.--11 Recoil Kits- Rifle (M4). Drop-In tether-less recoil kit with two (2) CO2 refillable magazines. No permanent modification to weapon required.
2.3.6.--WRK Refill Station w/Tank, Dock, & 1 Sled-M9 2.3.7.--WRK Refill Sled-M4 2.3.8.--WRK Armorer’s Kit (rifle and handgun) 2.3.9.--5 Taser (specify model) Sim Weapon w/2 Cartridges 2.3.10.--WRK Refill-Only Magazines. 22 M9 Magazines and 22 M4 Magazines
2.3.—Additional System Capabilities 2.4.1.--Low Light Training Program. Allows the trainee to use real flashlight in-conjunction with his/her weapon for low light training. This system is non-lane based which allows for multiple users. Includes: Two Flashlight with IR lens 2.4.2.--Trainee Action Capture (TAC) with Picture-in-Picture Video/Audio Debrief. Audio and color HD video capture of trainee’s actions in a scenario for immediate (or later) debriefing and review.
2.4.3.--Graph-X Targets. Allows the user to utilize any of the Graph-X modules for Marksmanship, Shoot-house, Basic Targets and Range Practice includes 55+ interactive CGI skill-builder exercises 2.4.4.--Statistics and Management. Allows user to manipulate the database information as to create individual and/or group statistics using relevant filtering criteria 2.4.5.--Baton/Punch/Strike Branching and Scoring. Allows the trainer to manually branch the scenario while the trainee uses his actual baton or makes a strike. The system will branch and score the use of action as a baton strike.
2.4.6.--Includes Kinect™ for Windows hardware (Or similar item) and custom Range software add-ons to enable voice control of system and scenario branching, detection and branching from baton use, physical strikes, defensive and offensive tactical movement and trainee tracking for camera view changes.
2.4.7.--Range Anywhere – Wireless Instructor 2.4.8.--Range React! Haptic Feedback Device (or similar item).Operator Controlled Haptic Distraction Device Includes: Two Haptic Feedback Units (vibrate mode only) and charging cable. Instructor remote with settings and adjustments.
2.4.9.--The Course Designer Program is editing software program that can be used to create lessons, tests and presentations for classrooms, auditoriums, and training rooms or for one on one instruction. Allows the user to utilize both digital video and computer graphics capabilities to create fully interactive training videos and/or graphics based training environments. Including HD Camera for scenario filming.
3. SPECIFICS:
3.1.–Contractor shall provide a layout design based on the information stated above. The design must be compliant with AFI 36-101 and Fire Regulations (state appropriate code).
3.2.–Contractor shall provide training to personnel on assembly and disassembly of system.
3.3.–The contractor must install and deliver to Malmstrom AFB, MT.
