Statement of Work Wheel and Tire Torquing System
13 June 2018
1.0 General Information:
The Contractor shall provide and install a wheel and tire torquing system, as well as all personnel, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide training and setup finalization in accordance with this statement of work (SOW). The contractor will not bring any electronic device into the restricted area without prior approval from the government. Restricted items on Whiteman AFB flight line include cell phones that are able to take photographs, record sound or access the web and/or have Bluetooth capabilities. Also, no MP3 players, no weapons of any kind to include any knife over 3 inches long.
2.0 Scope:
The 509 MXS Wheel and Tire shop requires seven (7) Days On-site for installation of the equipment (Located, Secured, Connected to facility services), to perform initial equipment power-up and functional verifications. Includes Basic Operation and Maintenance Training. The machine will be required to be programmed in a range of 60-155 FT/LBS. It will hook up to 220 volt ac power 50/60Hz. Wheel Assembly Torquing System computer-controlled twin spindle nut runner providing torque range indicated above. Fully programmed with the wheel data (torque and angle parameters) corresponding to the different wheel models as requested by the customer.

3.0 Location & Hours of Work:
The setup, training, and verification for the machine will take 5 days. The location is inside building T-9 Wheel and Tire shop. The contractor shall provide customer service during duty hours, within 0700-1500 hours, Monday through Friday; except for federal holidays.
Recognized US Federal Holidays are as follows: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. If the holiday falls on a Saturday, it is observed on Friday. If the holiday falls on Sunday, it is observed on Monday. When the contractor desires to work other than standard times, a written request shall be submitted to the Government Acceptor for approval. Written approval from the Contracting Officer must be received before proceeding with the work. The request shall be submitted at least five (5) work days prior to the proposed performance of work, and it shall indicate the day/days, time/amount of work, and reason why performance is necessary during nonstandard hours.
4.0 Base Access:
Contractor personnel shall meet all installation entry requirements before base access will be issued. Personnel not meeting the minimal standards will not be issued an installation pass and will not be allowed access to the installation. One month prior to contractor arrival contractors will provide the government with a list of all equipment with full descriptions and SN/ID number and make model and color. Contractor shall also provide a list of all personnel with full name as it appears on their driver licenses with DL number so the government can process an EAL for access to the flight line.
5.0 Billing:
The Government will not pay any deposits or make advance payments.
