ALL OFFERORS SHALL SUBMIT THE SPECIFICATION SHEETS FOR THE PRODUCT THEY

ARE PROPOSING

The following is the statement of work (SOW) and salient characteristics for replacement of the current parts washer located in Room 134 BLD 1118.

Replace existing 460 volt parts washer with new 460 volt parts washer.

REMOVAL

- Lock out power and disconnect 460 volt 3 phase 60Hz supply line entering the machine in control panel, remove wire and conduit from existing parts washer, at this point and remove all electrical cables and electrical conduit from machine and stow to the wall.

- Shut water valve off and disconnect 1ea copper water supply line and backflow valve from fill tank on existing parts washer.

- Disconnect 6 inch air/steam exhaust PVC pipe from the exterior wall and parts washer in Room 134

- Disconnect 2 inch metal piping from parts washer that runs to water processor

- After all the above has been accomplished the existing parts washer will be removed and replaced with new washer. Existing parts washer will be placed under south overhang of Building 1118 until turned into DRMO by the government.

PARTS WASHER

Parts washer is to meet the following characteristics equal to or better.

- Must be able to run and operate on 460v 3 phase 60 Hz power supply line and able to run with 150 amp breaker

- Musts be able to fit parts as large as 80 inches wide and at least 60 inches tall

- Heated wash cycle not to exceed 200 degrees Fahrenheit

- Rinse cycle with a temperature of at least 140 degrees Fahrenheit

- Oil separator weather oil coalesce or oil skimmer

- Automatic fill on wash and rinse tank

- Rotating turn table with jog button/ very easy loading (may be on door or fixed inside unit whatever is easier to load parts)

- Direct drive turn table (NO rubber tire such as existing parts washer that deteriorates over time)

- Must also have ability to wash small parts, nuts bolts etc. (Can be in parts baskets)

- Must have 6 inch steam exhaust able to be directed out of the wall behind parts washer. NOT TO BE

VENTED OUT OF THE ROOF.

- Regenerative blower and air heat system to help remove excess water from parts before removal

- Must have access to drain wash and rinse tank, wash tank and rinse tank water must be pumped to a water processor to be cleaned. (Current piping from parts washer to the water processor is 2 inch outside diameter metal pipe.)

- 7 day programmable timer or timers to run all cycles including wash, rinse, skimmer, etc.

- Weight capacity of at least 2000 lbs.

- Must fit through garage door opening of 144 inches wide and 118 inches tall

- Operating wash is to be 140 PSI or greater

- Filtering systems for wash and rinse cycles

- Must be able to remove dirt, oils and very thick grease from both large and small parts.

- Easy one touch start for entire wash, rinse, dry cycle

- Adjustable wash and rinse time

Preferred options

- Display fault codes

- Digital timers and displays

- Oscillating wash manifolds

- Retractable center wash manifold

- Enclosable washable parts bins for small parts to be washed

- Skimmer or oil coalescer drain pump. (Pump oils and grease from waste tank into existing water processor)

- Service package for first time spare parts to include fuses, air filters, filters and greases etc.

INSTALLATION

- Install/route new 460 volt 3 phase 60Hz supply line and electrical conduit from wall mounted shut off box/breaker into new machines control panel.

- Reconnect/plum/route new copper fresh water supply line to new parts washer with a backflow valve installed in line.

- Reconnect 6 inch air/steam exhaust PVC from washer and direct it out of the wall in Room 134 to outside the building. Exhaust will NOT be directed out of the roof.

- Reconnect 2 inch metal piping from water processor to new parts washer

- Provide all tools, equipment, labor, wire, plumbing supplies, and miscellaneous hardware and supplies to install new washer and reroute water line, electrical and steam exhaust to accommodate new washer.

Total AMP draw NOT TO EXCEED 150 amps

Frequency: 60Hz

Useable turntable diameter: 80 inches usable width and minimum 60 inches tall
