STATEMENT OF WORK
92 FSS KITCHEN EQUIPMENT

1.0 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: The 92 Force Support Squadron (92 FSS) has a requirement for eight (8) kitchen equipment items in various quantities for the Warrior Dining Facility (WDF) at 100 West Bong Street Fairchild AFB (FAFB) WA 99011. Pricing shall include removal, disposal, installation, training, and warranty of items in accordance with (IAW) federal, state, local codes, regulations and manufacture specifications. The equipment being requested is: 1) convection oven; 2) deep fryer; 3) steam jacketed kettle; 4) tilt grill; 5) flat top grill; 6) reach-in-freezer ; 7) steamer; and 8) ice maker.
2.0 SCOPE OF WORK: Removal of existing kitchen equipment; uncrate, connect, install and test new equipment; removal and disposal off base of associated waste and debris; training; maintenance; and warranty of items in accordance with (IAW) federal, state, local codes, regulations and manufacture specifications.
2.1 Site Visit: A site visit will be held in accordance with the solicitation. A pre-performance site visit is required after contract award. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure each item ordered is fully functional, compatible, and operational prior to the government’s inspection and acceptance.
2.2 Installation: The contractor shall schedule installation with the user. The WDF is open seven days a week 365 days per year, and does not close during holidays. The equipment units may be installed on separate schedules; the best time for installation is 1300-1500, or after dinner.
Dining hours are as follows:
Breakfast 0600-0830 Lunch 1100-1330 Dinner 1700-1900
If contractor work hours are required outside of normal operating hours a written request shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer (CO) for approval.
Disconnect, remove and dispose of existing equipment. Uncrate equipment, move in, set-up and dispose of any waste generated. Connect all necessary utilities IAW manufactures specifications. The vendor shall demonstrate functionality of equipment prior to acceptance by the government.
2.3 Training: The contractor shall be required to provide training. The contractor is required to coordinate, schedule, and provide training prior to acceptance by the government.
2.4 Warranties: All equipment items shall come with standard manufacturer warranty. Each warranty document’s terms and conditions shall be identified in the contractor’s proposal. Extended warranty, if available, shall be considered prior to contract award. The government will only accept new items, and will not accept refurbished equipment. Warranties shall be inclusive of industry standard parts and labor rates and warranty proposals which exceed manufacturer provided allowances will be considered.
3.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES: The government will provide reasonable access to all utilities necessary for contractor performance, as well as potable water, and on-site restrooms. The area in the back/front of the building is available for use, as needed, for staging contractor equipment, tools, and items. The contractor shall keep the area secure and clean at all times.
It is the contractor’s responsibility to confirm prior to installation all items proposed are compatible with existing utilities, connections, amperage, wattage, and space. Measurements provided herein are considered estimates as the final item actually ordered may differ from the Brand Name or Equal Item sought.

4.0 SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All contractor working on FAFB shall abide by USAF security regulations. Contractor personnel requiring access to base shall provide all required documentation and coordinate pass request at least 7 days prior to scheduled installation. Emergency services are provided on FAFB when necessary, and may be billed at cost to the contractor, as applicable.

ATTACHMENT 1 - SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
CLIN 0001: GAS CONVECTION OVEN
The government is requesting a quantity of two (2) Vulcan VC44GC, Brand Name or Equal Items, as follow:
The gas convection oven shall, at a minimum, possess the following characteristics:
1. Double section gas convection oven;
2. Solid state temperature controls adjust from 150 degrees to 500 degrees Fahrenheit;
3. Roast and hold cycle;
4. A minimum of 60-minute timer;
5. Ovens units need to be stacked together with supplied stacking kit;
6. Stainless steel front, sides, top and legs;
7. Independently operated stainless steel doors with double pane windows;
8. 40,000-60,000 BTU/hr. burner per section, 80,000-120,000 BTU/hr. total. two speed oven blower-motor - high and low;
9. Oven cool switch for rapid cool down;
10. Five oven racks with 8-16 rack positions per section;
11. 3⁄4" rear gas connection with combination gas pressure regulator and safety solenoid system;
12. Minimum of 40 1⁄4"w x 41 1⁄8"d (includes motor & door handles) 37 3⁄4"d(includes motor only) x 70"h on 8" legs; maximum of 50”width x 51”depth (includes motor & door handles) 47”depth (includes motor only) x 80” height
CLIN 0002: DEEP FRYER
The government is requesting a quantity of two (2) Vulcan 4TR45DF-1 Powerfry3 , Brand Name or Equal Items, as follows:
The deep fryer shall, at a minimum, possess the following characteristics:
1. 4 Frypots
2. Twin fry basket for each fry pot; 8 total
3. BTU per Fry Pot 60,000-80,000 BTU/hr
4. Overall Dimensions:
Width: Min 60", Max 72” Depth: Min 32", Max 42” Height: Min 46", Max 52”
5. Automated temperature control boil-out mode
6. Oil Capacity 45-50lbs per frypot, 180-200lbs total
7. Amps 4-8 Amps; 60 Hertz; Voltage 120 Volts
8. Features Built-In Filtration System;

CLIN 0003: STEAM JACKETED KETTLE
The government is requesting a quantity of three (3) Groen 144061, Brand Name or Equal Item, as follows:
The steam jackets shall, at a minimum, possess the following characteristics:
1. Cabinet Assembly;
2. Gas kettle with electronic ignition;
3. At minimum (2) 20 quart kettles per each;
4. Hand tilt with support arm;
5. Stainless steel cabinet with removable doors;
6. Wide drain trough;
7. Wing faucet & steam trap;
8. 0 - 2000' elevation;
9. Stainless steel construction;
10. 150,000-250,000 BTU/hr.;
11. National Sanitation foundation certified;
12. 115v/60/1-ph, 15.0 amps, standard;
13. Minimum 43.63” height x 36” width x 34.25” depth; maximum 50” height x 46” width x 44 depth”
CLIN 0004: TILT GRILL
The government is requesting a quantity of one (1) Southbend BGLT-30, Brand Name or Equal Item, as follows:
The tilt grill shall, at a minimum, possess the following characteristics:
1. Gas fired skillet;
2. Compressed Gas Association and National Sanitation foundation certified;
3. The unit shall have a spring assisted stainless steel cover, full width handle, no drip condensate guide and vent port with swing cover;
4. The pan shall have a sloped front and be front hinged and include a removable pour lip strainer;
5. The pan shall be formed from stainless steel;
6. Cooking surface shall be a minimum of 5/8” thick stainless steel clad plate ensuring even heat distribution over entire cooking surface;
7. The pan shall be mounted on a heavy duty welded frame with stainless steel exterior supported by an all welded stainless steel pipe frame with adjustable bullet feet and rear legs fitted with flange adjustable feet for securing to the floor;
8. The controls shall include a ON/OFF power switch;
9. Solid state thermostat with OFF position and range of 100°F - 450°F (38°C to 232°C), a thermostat indicator light, an ignition indicator light, pan tilt switch that shuts burners off if tilted more than 5°, and high temperature cut-off set at 536°F (280°C);

CLIN 0005: FLAT TOP GRILL
The government is requesting a quantity one (1) Vulcan, HEG72E, Brand Name or Equal Item, as follows:
The flat top grill shall, at a minimum, possess the following characteristics:
1. Electric Countertop Griddle with Thermostatic Controls
2. 4 Drawer Refrigerated Chef Base - 180,000 BTU (minimum);
3. 6 independently-controlled 30,000 BTU (minimum) burners with standing pilots for instant ignition;
4. Energy-saving thermostatic controls;
5. 4 drawer, heavy-duty refrigerated chef base offers ample storage;
6. Field convertible to liquid propane; include orifice for connection;
7. Griddle dimensions Left to Right: 72"-73”; Front to Back:30”- 32 3/4"; Height: 15”-16 3/4"
CLIN 0006: REACH IN FREEZER
The government is requesting a quantity of one (1) Turbo Air M3F24‐1‐N, Brand Name or Equal Item, as follows:
The reach in freezer shall, at a minimum, possess the following characteristics:
1. Freezer, reach‐in, one‐section;
2. 21.6 cu. ft. or similar capacity;
3. 28‐3/4"W x 33‐3/4"D x 83"H, or similar dimension;
4. Top mount self‐contained refrigeration with self-cleaning condenser;
5. Field reversible hinged solid door with lock & door alarm;
6. Exterior LED digital thermometer;
7. Self-diagnostic monitoring system;
8. Smart defrost direct or fan-assisted cooling systems
9. Automatic fan motor delays;
10. (3) Polyethylene coated wire shelves;
11. Aluminum interior with stainless steel floor;

CLIN 0007: STEAMER
The government is requesting a quantity of one (1) Cleveland 24CGA10, Brand Name or Equal Item, as follows:
The steamer shall, at a minimum, possess the following characteristics:
1. Cooking Capacity for up to ten 12˝ x 20˝ x 2 1/2˝ deep Cafeteria Pans, five each compartment;
2. Independent cooking compartments, each has its' own generator, gas valve and water level controls -no shared components;
3. High Efficiency Gas Power Burner (forced air) Generator: (A minimum of 72M BTU's per compartment);
4. Cleaning Port: Each generator has a de-liming port located on the outside, top of the unit;
5. Generator Steam Standby Mode: Holds generator at steaming temperature, allows unit to start cooking quickly;
6. Each compartment has one, 60-Minute Electro-Mechanical Timer. Manual Bypass Switch for constant steaming;
7. Two-Piece Compartment door: Slammable, self-adjusting door provides and airtight seal, reversible door gasket for extended life;
8. Gemini Drain/Power Control System: Simple, reliable 1/2" thru 3/4” ball valve style drain automatically turns power ON/OFF;
9. Brass Steam Jets distribute even-high velocity steam throughout cooking compartment for faster cooking times;
10. Easy, Front -Access Generator Controls with a pull out drawer for simple servicing of unit;
11. 6˝ Stainless Steel Adjustable Legs with Flanged Feet. Unit must be at least 6” higher off the floor to allow cleaning underneath;

CLIN 0008: ICE MAKER
The government is requesting a quantity of one (1) Manitowoc IRT1900A , Brand Name or Equal Equipment.
The ice maker shall, at a minimum, possess the following characteristics:
1. BTU Per Hour: 25,000 - 30,000 (average), and 25,000 - 35,000 (peak);
2. Operating Limits:
a. Ambient Temperature Range: 40˚ to 110˚F (4.4˚ to 43.3˚C)
b. Water Temperature Range: 40˚ to 90˚F (4.4˚ to 32.2˚C)
c. Water Pressure Ice Maker Water In: Min. 20 psi (137.9 kPA), Max. 80 psi (551.1 kPA)
3. Overall dimensions 48” width 24.5” depth 29.5” -33” height.
4. Unit should be able to fit unto a 48” width x 24.5” depth ice bin
