Sources Sought Synopsis/ Request for Information (RFI)
This sources sought is released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201 for market research purposes only. This announcement is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to seek quotations or award a contract at this time.
The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis/RFI is to identify businesses with the capability to supply services meeting the requirements in Performance Work Statement (PWS). The 92d Contracting Squadron is of the understanding that this requirement will be limited to the sole source of Avid Technology Inc. This is because Avid Technology's software and hardware are protected under intellectual property laws that include patents, copyrights, trademarks and contractual provisions. Additionally, Avid Technology, Inc.’s commercial resellers are contractually prohibited from selling Avid Products and services to the Federal Government.
If your firm is indeed capable of providing the services required, you are invited to submit a capability statement of no more than five (5) pages, and no smaller than 12 point Times New Roman font. The capability statement should demonstrate the interested firm’s understanding, capability, approach, qualification, and past experience in meeting the work requirements identified in Attachment # 1, SOW.
Moreover, all capability statements must also include: the name of the firm, point of contact, e-mail address, phone number, address of firm, and the CAGE number for the prime entity.
Responses shall be provided via email to SrA Zachary Slamon, Contract Specialist, at no later than 2:00 p.m. PDT on August 9, 2018. All questions pertaining to this announcement will be answered through a “Special Notice” electronically through FBO.gov. 92d Contracting Squadron personnel may contact firms responding to this announcement to clarify a responder’s capabilities and other matters as part of this market research process.
