Q1) We would like to confirm that the government requires the awarded vendor to supply internet connectivity.

A1) Yes, the contractor will need to provide some form of internet to the mail meter machine.

Q2) We would like to confirm what type on internet connection is available in the AFB; 1) LAN 2) WIFI or 3) Cellular WIFI?

A2) While the Government doesn’t care about which type the contractor chooses, all forms of internet connection are available from local ISPs.

Q3) If the vendor is required If the requirement is for a LAN line is it the requirement of the vendor to pay for installation or the LAN line and the monthly connection fee for the term of the contract?

A3) Yes, the contractor will be required to provide internet (and all associated costs) to the mail meter machine for the life of the contract.

Q4) Also, can the government confirm where the equipment will be located? Will it be in the basement or on the ground floor?

A4) Location of equipment placement will be centrally located on Offutt AFB in B513 (First Floor, Ground Level, Rm 103), Official Mail Center, 105 Apollo Dr, Offutt AFB NE 68113.
