1. Note #3 on drawing CP104. Is that a 90 degree bend or a tee?

A) See Revised Attachment 2.

2. The 6" and 8" pipe. Is that SDR 35 or Schedule 40?

A) See Revised Attachment 2.

3. For the Clean outs. Can I use a 24x6 Reducer and then a 6x90 bend, or do I need a 24x90 bend and the use a 24x6 reducer?

A) Contractor’s choice.

4. Note #26 on page CP104 How do they want us to hook up to the existing draintile? Is it PVC or Corrugated HDPE?

A) See Revised Attachment 2. Existing pipe type unknown.

5. Are there electronic files available for the project grading or with they be provided to create GPS files for the equipment?

A) Autocad will be provided after award.

6. Will GPS grading equipment and surveying equipment be allowed to operate in the WSA?

A) Yes.

7. The specifications state that we are to bid 6 weeks or 30 days of Exercise/Training delay. I assume that a majority of these will be planned with fair warning, except for the 7 random days that are spelled out? Will these typically be for the entire day or just a few hours?

A) Typically for the entire day.

8. Are 2 way radios allowed to be used inside the WSA between equipment and trucks?

A) No, no devices that can transmit out of the WSA are allowed (except for job critical items such as surveying equipment).

9. Are there any excess material disposal or pile areas located near the WSA or on base for disposal of the excess soils?

A) See Specifications 31 00 00 paragraphs 3.2, 3.9 and 3.18. The base will take suitable material, free of debris and contamination, at a site about 2 miles from the WSA.

10. The specifications call for deflection testing and leakage/pressure testing to be completed on the PVC storm sewer lines, normally this isn't completed on other types of storm sewer projects, is this desired to be completed as spelled out?

A) See Revised Attachment 2.

11. Specifications discuss a Warranty Period Test to include video and deflection testing on all pipe installed at 1 year from the completion date. It also discusses a laser profiler to be used. Please clarify what is desired for this warranty period review?

A) See Revised Attachment 2.

12. How many hours per day will the contractor be allowed to work in the WSA? Are there hours that we will be required to be shut down by or can we work sun up to sun down?

A) Alternate hours from the specification may be considered after award, if approved they will be negotiated.

13. Is there a list available for restrictions that would not allow contractor employees to work in the WSA, such as DUI or other crimes, etc.?

A) Anything that prevents the employee from getting onto the installation would also prevent access to the WSA.
