SUBJECT: Questions and Answers RFQ FA449719R0002, Dover AFB Sports Officials

1. The following is a list of questions posed by prospective contractors for the RFQ for Dover AFB Sports Officials requirement. The corresponding answers are a response of the Government’s position.

Q1: The score keeper is only slotted for the intramural basketball games- will the base provide score keepers for flag football, volleyball, softball and the other basketball (youth)?

A1: Yes, we do provide scorekeepers for all intramural sports that are organized through the fitness center.

Q2: What days are the games normally played on and at what times?

A2: Monday-Thursday, 1730/1830/1930

Q3: Is there a live update format for any cancellations of games?

A3: Cancellations happen at the last minute if it hinders missions. It can happen as much as an hour prior to the game where we ourselves get notified that a team will not be able to participate due to exercises, etc. As soon as we get notice we send out a mass text/email to all involved including the referees.

Q4: Can the base provide me a location to host our trainings for certifications and quarterly seminars that are mandatory for all officials?

A4: Yes, we can set up the HAWC for trainings. This is located in the fitness center and can hold up to 25 people comfortably.

Q5: Other than the standard officiating uniforms for each sport, will Athens base require any form of patch to be worn on uniforms of officials to signify they are a certified official?

A5: No, just the standard officiating uniform is required.
