Statement of Work (SOW) for Aerospace Ground Equipment Shop Equipment

Vertical Carousel Addition for Travis AFB, 60 MXS/MXMG:

1.0. Description of Requirement. The primary objective of this statement of work is to provide an outline for the installation of one new Megamat machine to exactly match existing unit, in accordance with the manufacturers and standard commercial practice.

1.1. Vendor shall provide supervision, personnel, maintenance equipment, transportation, tools, and labor necessary to remove old equipment and install new equipment as noted above as prescribed in this SOW. The vendor will provide all required safety equipment. All equipment used under this contract shall meet all

OSHA, EPA, and or any other applicable guidelines. All safety equipment shall be used for its intended and designed purpose. Unsafe acts by the vendor will be reported to vendor supervision and 60 CONS and may be grounds for contract cancelation.

1.1.1. The vendor will not use any government equipment or personnel in the performance of their duties unless section supervision determines it is required for the completion of this SOW.

1.2. The contactor shall provide at no expense to the government the repair or replacement of components and equipment due to abuse, misuse, mishandling or neglected maintenance of the vendor or by those employed by the vendor.

2.0. Required Equipment Specifications and Services Bldg. 564.

2.1. Megamat RS650 Vertical Carousel or equal (Quantity 1): Equipment shall meet minimum salient characteristics.

2.1.1. Overall Unit Size 140.8”W x 238.6”H x 67.4”D (80”D w/work counter)

2.1.2. Each unit Includes 20 Carriers, 112.2”W x 24.7”D, 1,433 lb.

2.1.2.1. (8) Carriers single level. Clear Height of 17.72”

2.1.2.2. (5) Carriers includes (2) additional tiers. Three clear shelf levels of 5.61” per carrier

2.1.2.3. (7) Carriers includes (1) additional tier. Two clear shelf levels of 8.6” per carrier

2.1.2. 712.4 Sq. Ft. Storage Per Unit/568.4 Cu. Ft. Per Unit

2.1.3. Manual Handcrank, Front Light

2.1.4. Standard Single Access Opening

2.1.5. One (1) Years Parts and Labor Warranty

2.2. Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Installation

Vendor shall provide a certified electrician to run power for vertical carousel from new disconnect boxes to proposed unit location.

2.3. Installation includes final operational checks of all equipment items.

` 3.0 DETAILED REQUIREMENTS (New Vertical Carousel):

• Vertical Carousel shall be of Ergonomic Design

• Vertical Carousel shall be "Clip System" panel concept for fast assemble/disassemble and for maintenance purposes allowing for high operator security in the event that stored goods fall inside the unit.

• Vertical Carousel shall come with a lifetime warranty of the motor to assure years of reliable usage. All other components carry a 2 year warranty, including transportation, parts and labor.

• Vertical Carousel shall come equipped with an Emergency Hand Crank for access to parts in case of power failure.

• Vertical Carousel shall come equipped with a multifunctional profile allowing flexible fitment and positioning of operator panel, lighting and accessories above access opening.

• Vertical Carousel shall come equipped with a stainless steel table surface at a standing position.

• Vertical Carousel shall come equipped with a lockable lightweight one piece sliding door. Self-counterbalanced sliding door can be opened and closed with minimal effort. Two-piece sliding doors without counterbalance are not acceptable.

• Vertical Carousel shall have 100% Reliable Safety Security System

• Vertical Carousel shall come equipped with finger protection safety buffer at rear of posting board.

• Vertical Carousel shall be designed to accept transport rollers for fast and easy repositioning in the case of internal moves, providing maximum flexibility for unit positioning with minimum downtime and reinstallation costs.

• Vertical Carousel shall have standard manual override systems allowing for the unit to be used until service technician's repair.

• Vertical Carousel shall have a standard manual override that can be operated with the door open, so parts can be located using "drive and view", without having to know what carrier the part is stored on.

• Vertical Carousel shall be RAL 7035 Light Grey in color to match existing carousel

• Vertical Carousel shall fit within the following dimensions:

Length 11’9” 141” / Width 7’0” / Height 19’11”

• The contactor shall ensure the equipment complies with DIN EN 15095

"Power-operated mobile racking and shelving, carousels and storage lifts" and has been tested and certified by TOV (Technical Observation &

Control), a USA NRTL and a Canadian CB.

• The manufacture shall be certified ISO 9001.

• The manufacture shall be certified ISO 14001.

4.0. General Information

4.1. Hours of Operation: The contractor is responsible for conducting business with the individual purchased maintenance plans, except when government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closing, or similar government directed facility closing. The contractor shall not be reimbursed when the government facility is closed for the above reasons

4.2. Worker's Health and Safety: The contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and local legal requirements regarding workers' health and safety. The contractor is solely responsible for determining the legal and safety requirements that apply to his/her activities. These include but are not limited to all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety rules and regulations, arc flash training, personal protection training and equipment to protect themselves and others from unsafe work conditions. The contractor shall report any accidents or OSHA violations immediately to the appropriate authorities and within 24 hours to the PCO.

4.3. Security Requirements: The contractor shall comply with all security controls directed by the Government Site POC (i.e. Facility Manager).and or

Program Manager.

5.0. Government Property Damage: The contractor shall record and report, within 24 hours, to the PCCIE Program Manager, PCO and designated government site POC, all available facts relating to each instance of accidental damage to government property or injury to either contractor or government personnel. The contractor shall not perform any work on the damaged equipment/property until released by an authorized government representative. If the government elects to conduct an investigation of the accident, the contractor shall cooperate fully and assist the government personnel until the investigation is completed.

5.1. Damage to Property or Equipment: The Contractor, at their own expense, shall repair any damage to Government property or equipment that can be attributed to the Contractor. Said repairs shall be made by a skilled workman, and to the satisfaction or the Contracting Officer or a designated representative.
