Q&A *Are there elevators for moving bins to/from the ground floor at the Medical Center?

-Yes there are elevators at the Medical Center.

*Is sufficient parking available near the appropriate egress for the time it will take to complete all of the work at the Medical Center?

-There is sufficient parking for where we would like you to park, they will not be staging at our normal customer parking lot but in our loading dock area. It's larger, and there's less foot/vehicle traffic as well as ramps to go up/down the loading area.

*For the off-site locations how far distant are these locations from the Medical Center?

-The farthest off site location is 1.2 miles away. Every single one of the 4 locations can be hit going in a straight line so that 1.2 miles includes all the locations. Hospital is first location, 2nd location is literally across the street from us. Half a mile down the road from us is the Satellite Pharmacy and 0.3 miles down from there is the Veterinary Clinic. Or they can start from the Veterinary Clinic and go down to the hospital. Either way, from first location to last location they won't be traveling any more than 2 miles.

*Are all bins on the ground floor, and if not are there elevators?

-Not all of them are on ground floor, but there are elevators.

*Is the certification required NAID AAA Certification? If not, please explain what you mean as we know of no other certification related to secure document destruction.

-Yes, it is AAA Certification

*Is the acceptable level of shredding to be unreadable and non-reconstructible?

-Yes this is an acceptable level of shredding.

*Is there a current contract for the work being solicited?

-Yes FA4427-15-M-0010 is our current service contract that this solicitation is replacing. Any information about this contract can be found on FPDS.gov under the contract number FA442715M0010.

*How long does it take for the incumbent to perform the weekly service?

-The company currently performing the duties generally takes a good 6-8 hours to complete this(depending on workload as some bins may be empty and not require any service). But this is with them only using 2 employees.

*For any SDVOSB set-aside solicitation whose contract value exceeds $10,000.00 the offeror must take into account the Limitations on Subcontracting Rule (LOSR), which requires the contractor to pay no more than 50% of the value of the contract to a non-similarly situated subcontractor. To adhere to that LOSR restriction, after negotiating a fair fee with its subcontractor an SDVOSB must then double that amount to achieve the appropriate legal offer. Therefore, to reach an equitable evaluation of fair and reasonable pricing, evaluators must use as a comparison factor other qualified SDVOSB providers that have to obey the LOSR, rather than historical or local contractors that are not SDVOSBs. Please confirm that the evaluators understand this and will take into account during their determination of fair and reasonable pricing that offerors must adhere to LOSR regulations.

-We do not require Subcontracting
