1. If an extra pick up is needed, within how many hours do you need it to be picked up?

24 Hours

2. In the 12 month period, on average, how many extra pick-ups will you need?

We have not had any additional pickups this year. We usually watch the schedule and request a change to our schedule at least 24 hours in advance.

3. Can the contractor remove the contents inside the bin or does the trash container have to be switched with an empty container (like the current contractor is doing) ?

Contractor can remove the garbage, however it must be transported in an APHIS approved container. As stated in our compliance agreement with CBP. This paragraph reads as follows, any individual, corporation. Company, association, firm. Partnership, society, or joint stock Company, engaged in the business of handling or disposing of garbage in accordance with the Regulations (Title 7 Code of Federal regulations 330.400 – 330.403 and Title 9 Code of Federal Regulations 94.5) must first enter into a Compliance Agreement with APHIS. A Compliance Agreement authorizing the handling of regulated garbage is a legally binding contract between the United States Government and an establishment which has been approved by APHIS to handle regulated garbage.

4. Is the trash going to be bagged inside the trash bin or will it be loose trash?

Trash is bagged in a 4mil clear bag.

5. Are there specific times or days when the trash has to be picked up?
