Solicitation Number: FA4427-15-R-0011 Dosimetrist
Questions and Answers
1. RFP Page 3 Personal Service: Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, and personnel necessary to provide one Full-time Equivalent (FTE) Dosimetrist. What materials will the contractor need to supply?
Own transportation to work, personal dosimetry (TLD badge), services/ability to perform dosimetry services (the Air Force has the treatment planning services), proper staff coverage.
2. PWS Page 8 2.11. Off-site visits to other clinics or equipment/software manufacturers as requested by the QMMP. How many off-site visits does the government anticipate?
1-2 per year.
3. If off-sites visits involve driving, what is the estimated mileage per off-site visit?
Average 150 miles each.
4. Historically, how many off-sites visits has the incumbent Dosimetrist conducted?
3 over a 5 year plan.
5. Are off-sites visits local, regional, or national?
Local but there is a possibility for national.
6. Are any off-sites visits expected to involve air transportation? If so, how many to what locations?
Travel by air if outside of local area.
7. What is the treatment planning system there? We think it might be Eclipse.
The treatment planning system is Varian's Eclipse version 11. DGMC utilize the Aria Record and Verify system (aka, Oncology Management System).
8. What is the incumbent contract number?
FA4427-11-C-0003.
9. On the bottom of page 45 the list for Technical Factors begins with b). Is there an a) missing?
