A: The large conduit is fed from additional junction boxes throughout the facility, and these conduits provide adequate pathways for cabling to run back to the panel installation location.

3. The SOW states there are sixteen PIR sensors, but the diagram only shows 14. How many PIR sensors are required?

A: There are two PIR sensors unmarked in the diagram, so there are 16 PIR sensors required, as stated in the SOW.

4. One (1) Hirsch door access system (door identification reader) is not currently on the approved equipment list. Can the vendor replace with an approved Honeywell version?

11. Scissor Lifts will be required for this job will they be able to be stored onsite?

A: Yes

12. Will an outline of the conduit used and location of junction boxes be provided? All device cables must be connected to the Vindicator panel. The diameter of the conduit used for the intrusion system and the access control system is needed.

A: Large conduit and junction boxes are provided. Can be further determined on a site visit.

13. Has the comm squadron provided the requirements to get the data cable from the Vindicator panel to their termination point? (SOW states it is located within 10 to 20 feet)

A: The NIPR COMM room is approximately 20 feet away and a drop is being installed at the panel location. Comm has provided no additional requirements.

14. Will an adjusted SOW be provided to include the proper number of IDE devices that are to be installed?

A: The SOW states the number of sensors required, and no changes are required to the SOW.
