Statement of Work

Chiller Replacement

Bldg 900731

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to Replace Chiller unit at 114 Bedal Street building

900731.

1.1. BASIC SERVICES.

1.1.1. The contractor shall remove and dispose of the current defective chiller unit (Artic Chiller s/n 100042900), and install new water chiller unit (suggest Carrier Model 30RAP0186F-

26100 or equivalent ) to support the cooling during operation of the Gun Test Stand (GTS) for the 150MM, 40 MM and 25MM weapons mounts from the AC130 aircraft.

1.1.2. Requirements for the Chiller unit include a minimum of a 15 ton chiller unit, power requirement: 460VAC 3 phase 60 HZ with no more than a 50 AMP draw, provide 50 GPM to Hydraulic heat exchanger internal to the GTS. Installation must include a new slab for the equipment to sit on, 175 gal chilled water tank minimum, Wind Baffles, Security Grill and Hail Guards, all plumbing requirement to connect to the GTS equipment to include a new 3 way control valve, all electric requirements to connect to the facility power

(coordinated with Hurlburt Field’s Civil Engineering Squadron during final connections and power up operation). Attached is a building layout and current and location for new equipment (all measurements are approximate).

1.1.3. Contractor shall preform training on the use of the device and user maintenance requirements to maintain the equipment.

1.1.4. The contractor shall provide the Government a copy of the inspection and load test of the equipment installed.

2. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES. There will be no

Government Furnished Property, equipment or Services provided for this effort.

3. HOURS OF OPERATION.

3. Normal Hours of Operation. The contractor shall perform the services required under this contract during the following hours: MON-FRI 0700 to 1600, except for federal holidays. The contractor may work, with prior approval of the Contracting Officer and coordination through the end user, extended hours to ensure timely completion of work at no additional cost to the government.

3.1. Recognized Holidays. The contractor is not required to provide service on the following days:

New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Days, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on Saturday, it is observed on Friday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, it is observed on

Monday.
